IMO if Denver would have made the WCHA Final Five last year, they never would have won the National Championship. Regardless, I hope the Sioux come out fighting tonight and set the tone for the rest of the series in the first few minutes. Nothing is going to be easy from here on out, and UND needs to realize that and buck up right now, it's going to be a long journey over the next month or so. Hopefully we'll be standing on top in Milwaukee.

Anybody hear why the Mankato boys were suspended?

My posts aren't perfect. But I do read several times before I post, and then right afterwards and I do have to edit sometimes. My posts are mostly sarcasm, I like to laugh, and sometimes I laugh at other people......but most of the time, I'm laughing at myself. Life is way too short to take it so seriously that you can't laugh, IMO. I can't imagine going through life and not laughing so hard at least once that you wet your pants. What's the topic again?

If I remember correctly, back in the day I dropped my subscription to the Herald for not letting the nickname issue die, and running a story- no matter how lame or small on the front page just to keep the topic on the tip of everyone's tongue.......I still feel bad for letting that lady have it when she called to ask why I had dumped the paper. PS- I hope your job wasn't to proof read before the paper went to press.....

I didn't say if it was right or wrong, what I am saying is that if a men's player was not sitting on the bench, or cut from the team, we would all know why.

Ok, I have a question. Why is their so much secrecy in the women's program? If Jordan Parise was let go from the men's team- or any other men's player for that matter- everyone would know why, before it happened. How come two of the seniors were left out on senior day? To me, it's just not right. You spend four years working your butt off for a team and all of a sudden you are just gone. This is just speculation, but if it was a disciplinary reason, could it have been so bad that you couldn't tell your players, you're done for the season, but you will dress for senior day because of all that you have given to this program over the last four seasons?

What was that all about anyway? I hope no one really thought that.

I wonder that too, it will be interesting to see how things eventually pan out.

I don't know if the program can be patient enough for someone to be given two or three more years when you look at this: 2002-3- 10wins 2003-4- 16wins 2004-5- 9wins 2005-6- 7wins Maybe it's time to pack up and move on.

Especially when they were in goal on the biggest win of the program's short life.......

No teams had Olympians this year so that shouldn't have been an excuse for not winning. How long of a chance should a coach be given before they are shown the door?

I have a question. How many of you that have voted in this poll have supported the women's team in any capacity? I think it will be interesting to see what direction the University will be going now that the season has been completed.
