Sioux Falls has a really nice rink! Not far either. I went to the Bruins-Wild yesterday afternoon. That atmosphere was electric. The announced attendance was 19,320.

With presumably all the new faces it will to start with, but I hope the level of competition between the youngsters for playing time helps accelerate their development. I hope the coaches push them early so we don't have to see them struggle past Christmas.

Probably better at home sites, the NCHC seems to do just fine having at the X. No, the X isn't too big. It isn't like the Final 5 of old, but it is nice having it all in one spot. There are a lot of alumni down in the cities and they will gather at the X among other places this weekend.
