That could be true. KEM could have done the same. Who knows. Something that I have been thinking about and I don’t know what the right answer is. When do you release a college hockey coach and have the time to make the best hire? It’s not right that the portal opens before the tournament is over. You don’t have the time unless you already made your decision before the end of the season who is going to be the replacement. It sucks.

I will be very interested in the rest of the coaching team. Will Dane scour the field for assistants? Will he keep any? Time will tell. I hope he he does well.

I will be wearing Kelly green at the FF, but I will be cheering for the Broncos. It’s going to be fun hockey. I’m not going to dwell on the fact that our team is not playing. I’m hoping that a new dawn is coming for UND men’s hockey soon.

He is a great coach. I don’t care where the players come from. Albeit the portal, committed recruitment, or sniped (flipped) recruits. It takes a great coach to spot the talent and assemble the correct players to make a successful team.

I’m really hoping for a COMPLETE reset. If DJ is named, which I doubt he will. The gut feeling would be “More of the same philosophy”. I would be disappointed if some of the players would jump ship, but they would need to do what is best for them. The talent on these players is off the charts, they just need a coaching staff that will help them improve and believe in themselves to be successful now and the next step in their careers.

On GPL they are saying that the referees are being changed out for Saturday’s game. Can anyone substantiate that?

I have been reimbursed for travel expenses for the last couple of job interviews that I have done. Common practice now and when you are talking a package worth north of a half million dollars. I can easily believe that they would be flown in on a private charter.

hopefully it will end up being a rematch of Saturday night's game at the Frozen 4. I hoping that the gophers get beat late in the 3rd period in Fargo.
