Don't have dataflix, but was wondering how warm it is up there? I'm in Alabama this weekend, and I think we're at 35. If you say you're warmer, I think I'm turning Canadian.

Sioux need the sweep. Come out strong, and play 60 minutes of hockey!

Well, they didn't beat Slovakia, but IMO, they did outplay them. It was a fun game to watch, but the US can't seem to find the back of the net. Let's hope for the best against Sweden.

When everythings said and done, we can only blame ourselves for whatever happens. If we make the tournament, it's because we've played well, and won the necessary games. If we don't win the games, we don't make the tournament, and probably don't deserve to be in the tournament.

Shutout for Jordy!!! Good game for the Sioux. Needed a win, and the boys came through. Need to keep playing solid hockey for the remainder of the season. Best way to make the NCAA tournament is to win games and put yourself into the tournament. Don't depend on others to help you out!

I have those as well, plus other various games. I basically taped every game that was aired in my 10 years in North Dakota. If the Sioux lost, the tape didn't survive, unless it was a really good game. However, with my move to Tennessee, I had to thin out my collection, so my library decreased quite a bit. I'm in the process of turning the tapes to DVDs. Wish I would have done that before I moved, as I would have been able to keep my entire library. Unfortunately, that requires man hours!!!!

I turn on the radio, and we're in penalty trouble. I guess I knew right away I was listening to the Sioux. Would have liked to come out of the period with another goal, but I guess we should be thankful we still have the lead.

Look for Hale to stay in NJ for the remainder of the season. He's played solid since returning to the team, and is logging regular ice time.

I know I used to have this game on tape, but I'm not sure if I still do. With my recent move, a lot of things got thrown away, but I don't know if I would have thrown away this fight. If I find it, I'll let you know.

US players at the World Juniors said they didn't like the jersey's either. Wonder what the pros think of them?

I'm sure we'll still have Chelios, who will be a grandpa by then, as our team Captain. Let's just hope the players don't trash the hotels again like they did a few years back, after a poor performance in the olympics. Perhaps we should cut our guys some slack though. After all, this Latvia team did practice together for an entire week! The Russia loss was a shocker, and I'm not sure how bad Hasek is injured, so I don't know about the Czech's. I would say that Canada is the best bet for gold. Finland and Sweden definitely hold a chance, but the dark horse has to be that monster Latvia team!
