I agree that it probably would have been a penalty if any other leagues ref were reffing the game, and probably a penalty as well, if the Sioux had laid the hit.

I didn't see it as being a hit from behind. The guy was off balanced as he was shooting the puck, and did go into the boards hard, but the BU guy did hit him shoulder to shoulder. IMO, if the guy was another foot closer to the boards, it could have been a boarding call.

I haven't moved my Sioux jersey from it's exact positioning that it was in last weekend on my couch. It started the Wisconsin game on me. After the first Wisconsin goal, I removed it; after the second Wisconsin goal, it found it's current strategic position on my couch. On top of that, I changed T-shirts last Friday, to my green "Sioux Hockey" shirt, following the second Wisconsin goal. It's game day, my jersey sits in it's exact position, as no one has come close to it all week, and I'm wearing my green t-shirt again. But that's not superstitious, that's normal right?

Dubay just admitted (though it was difficult for him), that he'd rather have Oshie on his team at this time than Kessel. Not meaning to start a huge debate here, just didn't expect Dubay to actually say what he did.

Rather than Fighting Sioux, just replace it with "Go Sioux!" It would be great if this were able to happen. Probably too late in the week to try to organize it, but it would be great!

It is only his first year in the league though. Brian Gionta scored 29 points in his first full season in the NHL, and he had played partial seasons with the Devils the previous two years. I consider Zach to play similar to Gionta, and think that he will develop into a solid NHL player in time.
