I started making that prediction last Sunday! Okay, I don't think I put in the logic behind my reasoning, and was going by sure hope, like everyone else, but if I have to, I'll go back on this board and find that first post!
I think that's the only good thing here, is that both teams have to maintain focus on the game at hand, instead of looking ahead. Holy Cross is in the best position right now, as they'll be watching the game, knowing they have at least one more game.
I know what you mean. The Goofers loss has to give the Ralph an enormous boost, regarding atmosphere! The boys need to stay focused on Michigan though, and not think about Holy Cross.
They also have as many questions about their own program as they had coming into the game (maybe we're not that good-the head games continue).
They than wish they would have touched the McNaugton Cup!
I'm not worried about our guys overlooking Michigan. They've got a strong history in the NCAA Tourny, and Hak has really hammered into their heads about taking things one game at a time. Go Crusaders!
Regardless of the outcome, Holy Cross has nothing to hang their heads about. They've definitely done more than anyone expected, just hanging in the game this long.
