Ladies laid another egg today. I watched most of the first half but couldnt force myself to watch more. It was awful. 27 turnovers, 21% from 3, 43% from the FT line. I dont see how Hurst is even playing. Plays defense with her arms at her side. We are in for a long season I think. I do like two of the freshman we have and see some potential there, but they need to be playing more. Our two 4 star recruits so far have been a bust. I dont see how we are a top 4 team in the summit.

Looking back you are right there was alot of lay ups. I believe alot of that is from T. Very frustrating for me to watch. He is probably our worst defender and so soft. I do still think that the defense is improved from last year with some of the guys that we brought in. That also doesnt mean that we still cant improve on it.

Great team win with our two stars having a off night! Eli is showing improvement in every game. Amar is a stud and we need to get him more minutes. He is just a hard nosed player that knows how to set a screen and a beast on the boards. When he gets a board down low you know its going in. I dont have the same confidence if its T getting the board. I honestly would rather see him playing more then T . T has some offensive skills but his defense and toughness is lacking. Love Brooks! As much as Brady gets ripped on here he is a steady and never lacks for hustle. He has a place just not in the starting line up. Deng started out dominating last night, the announcers even said he could do what he wanted. I am hoping it was just foul trouble that took him out of the game. Props to Coach for tightening the line up this year and the defense looks much improved from last year. Probably the most excited for a season I have been in for a LONG time!

Watching Walker Demers play for South Dakota now. UND sure could use a 6'4" local girl from Grafton on our team.

Totally Agree with Hoopsfan. If we are worried about Jamestown we have way bigger issues. You get a Jamestown team in here that is at least competitive and have some local kids on the team will draw more interest then a Northland college we play every year from Wisconsin that has no local names anyone will recognize. Last night the women played Concordia and I recognized some the girls that were playing and it was at least fun to see how some of the local kids are doing.

Thats not what he is saying. He said IF we have to schedule Non D1 schools at LEAST schedule competitive Non D1 schools. Why schedule a Northland. Schedule a local college that is good in their league that may have some local players on it.

My mistake then on Gayle and Barber. Memory isn't as good as I thought. I do know they recruited Stockman because I thought they got a really good find to turn the team around. i am looking forward to see what all his own recruits can do.

I think we need a setter also. I see the sets and they are not as crisp as other teams I have watched. Also I believe most of the team was recruited by the current staff. I know Gayle, Barber, Stockman for sure were recruited by current coaches. I dont get why Olson is not playing either or any type of line up change makes no sense.

Thats what I am going to do bite the bullet and buy one month of big 10 plus. I hope its a good game!

Does anyone know if the Mountain West Broadcast is free? I seen there was a app to watch the game, but I couldnt see if they charged anything or it was free

The Midco broadcasts were the ones that were broadcast on ESPN + so there is no difference other then now I have to have a Midco Plus Subscription, ESPN Plus to catch the games on there that are not played at a Summit League school AND Have a TV subscription to CBS Sports to catch those games AND if I want to watch the Iowa game on Tuesday I need a Big 10 + subscription for $15. Not sure why they didnt just keep with ESPN + definitely more bang for your buck because I can watch other teams as well for exact same price as Midco Plus.

I think she may be hurt. She finally broke the rotation and then couple games later has not played at all. I agree with what you are seeing from Norris and Gayle wondering when they make some changes. I am seeing alot of bad setting to our hitters and mental errors. Kind of disappointing after last season.

I watched the game last night. I have been curious why Ashlyn Olson has not been playing? They said during the game that she lead the team in kills last year. Seems odd that she can barely break the rotation when the team looked like they did better last year then this year. I agree they have not looked good all season. Setting seems to be a issue I see.

They pulled a 6'3 recruit from Bismarck this week too for 2025. I wonder why our coaches never look for local talent. SDSU wins with girls from the mid west. We like to look elsewhere...

I think they will get better too. I do wish they would have at least been competive in the losses. Other then one set they lost they were all blow outs. Alot errors and blocking was bad. It doesn't get any easier with today's game

Here will come the boos.. but probably because she was third team Class B girl in South Dakota... We have alot of third team Class B girls in North Dakota that will not be getting scholarships either...

I went to the scrimmage and I will say I am not a volleyball expert but know enough to make me dangerous. The team looks much improved from last year. The girls just looked more like Division 1 college athletes. I plan on trying to go to the Crookston match as well. I am really excited how much the Tupacs have transformed this team. If you would have told me that this team would look like they do now in just year two I would not believe you. Two years ago they were unwatchable, now I am excited to get to a few games! I hope we can keep both of the Tupacs around for a LONG time! Cant wait to see who they recruit for the 2024 season! Success only brings in better players!

Does this now mean ESPN + will no longer carry any of the games?
