It was really a bummer that the Sioux did not win last night. The Sioux are playing three games this week-end, if the Sioux win tonight and if SCSU wins tonight, that will mean that the Sioux would be playing in the Thursday night game. If the Sioux were to win on Thursday, they would then have another 3 game week-end. That would be two consectutive 3-game weekends before the regional, expanding alot of energy and chancing injuries. The way the WCHA playoffs are set up, it makes it very diffcult for the 4 or 5 placed team to advance and do well in the NCAA tourney. Denver proved in 2004 that it is better to miss the final five, than go through back to back three game week-ends. Denver was rested enough, got lucky by beating the Sioux 1 to 0 in the regional; and ended up winning the NCAA championship. Something to ponder. Regardless, I really want the Sioux to pound the goofers and that diver Seapiss.

I ran into this with the Saturday SCSU game, and it is why I am not using B2Live this week-end. B2Live can be a pain, they need to allow more than 10 minutes before game time to complete the transaction.

Friday - Gregoire Green Beer Guy will be tinting the beers for Sioux Fans at CC this week-end.

In the recent years of 2005 and 2008, there were 6 WCHA teams that made the NCAA tournament. Each time, the NCAA placed 3 WCHA teams in the Midwest regional, and one WCHA team in each of the other 3 regionals. Should be interesting to see what develops.

If there are 6 WCHA in the NCAA tourney, you can bet that they will place 3 of the WCHA teams in the same regional. The NCAA does not ever want to have a repeat of an all WCHA Forzen Four again. There could be 3 WCHA teams playing in the Minney regional.

Yes! Now it ROCKS! Makes me thirsty for some green beverage right now, (being as it is Saturday, maybe a Bud tinted with green food coloring).

If the Sioux can make a 4th seed in the NCAA, and Denver a 1st Seed, we could meet them at the X in the first round. Hopefully we can repay them with a 1 to 0 defeat. All a team has to do is win four games in the NCAA tourney, Denver proved that you do not have to be the best team to win it all, as in 2004.

I know that I just can't stand Denver, they are even worse than Minny. I thought that the Sioux missed their chances to bury them in the 1st period, but they didn't. They still have a chance with their schedule, with no lapses allowed. It is extremelty up-hill from here. (Speeaking of John Hill, he still sxucks)

I would like to see the Sioux take on Denver in the playoffs, we beat them last time we faced them. Granted it took game 2 and 3, both in over-time to do it. But it can be done again, we are due for an upset!

I didn't say it would be easy, just hoping we can repay Denver for the 2004 post season. And Yeah!, Denver Sxucks more than Minney. Just hope the Seawolves win tonite! Our season ain't over, just alot tougher fromn here on out.

Too bad the Sioux were not able to bury their chances early in the first period, that cost them the game. This will be movtivation for post-season play, hopefully we face them again and beat them 1 to 0, karma.
