Who is to blame about the Vikes special teams? Get rid of him/them! I can see Chilly being kept around, but the QB situation needs to be fixed...as well as Special Teams and maybe adding a WR.

This is probably not the best, but could you pick on the WJT failure? 3 gophers on the team. You could say something like "Thanks for 5th Place". Not sure if this is good or bad to do, thought I'd throw it out for the rubes to debate.

I was reading some things about Lucia on USCHO, and I came across a bunch of garbage that really makes me happy to live in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Apparently, Twin Cities media have been speculating on what is wrong with Don, Dark Starr actually reporting a supposed diagnosis. (that coach had to dispell as untrue at his press conference) Coach Lucia said something to the effect that he has been called 10 times a night by media wondering what is wrong with him. Am I missing something here? Where is the decency? Would this happen in GF or Fargo if one of our coaches was sick and wanted some privacy? Sure, regular guys like me would discuss, and maybe post rumors on a messageboard, but would Brad S., Tim H., Pat Sweeney go on air and basically makeup a diagnosis for a guy and broadcast it? NO! Maybe I am overreacting, but this just makes me sick. LEAVE THE GUY ALONE! In the grand scheme, this is just one little thing, but yet another reason why I'm glad I live where I do.

NO way would they ever consider coming up to GF. Of course, the reasons they would use would be different from the actual reason of: THEY ARE SCARED!

We will see buddy. Numbers aren't bad, I don't deny that, but UMN-TC has a few more cupcakes on their schedule. Brad E has very similar numbers, around 90 or 91 save %, and he had a few tough games when he took over. Rivalry games are fun because no matter what the records, anything can happen. It will be nice for the gophers that they have the 3 players at the WJC excuse ready, and the Lucia being gone excuse ready. (I sincerely wish the best for Don and his family, I hope everything works out)

I love the Canadian fans' passion, it is awesome to see, BUT, the hatred for the USA has really left a sour taste in my mouth. I have to root for the Swedes.
