The NCAA Championship Game Dream Match-Up: BU vs. PC
sprig replied to MafiaMan's topic in Men's Hockey
Boston seemed to have received those breaks throughout the tournament. Some teams seem to always get more of those than others, and the "missed calls both ways" argument doesn't fly when it comes to those teams -

I thought they would tie it after that noncall. -

Blatant hook prevents eng, but Providence wins anyway. -

Softie given up by Gillies, BU scores again -
The majority of Sioux fans agree with you. The dumba**es will continue to spew here forever, they are ignorable, not easily, but ignorable nonetheless.
-
Pressure, they could score 6 in the second playing like this (like 97)

also at the ground round

2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament
sprig replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Men's Basketball
Classic BB dive, and every call went Duke's way in the second half. The big ones were, imo, wrong, including the review that didn't overturn the call and give the ball to Wisco. How could they not see that on the replay? Two others, a blocking foul on Wisco (should have been on offensive foul on Duke), and, shortly after that, an offensive foul on Duke that was not called. There are others as well, all went Dule's way. -
Wondered myself, so looked it up: loge lōZH/ noun a private box or enclosure in a theater. the front section of the first balcony in a theater. a tier of seating in an arena or stadium, typically between the upper and lower decks.

Had no idea Zombo was back. Did he play yesterday as well?
-
was a 5 by the book-odd for laleggia as he rarely checks and seldom plays defense
-
RIT has looked better than a pairwise 37 team (or whatever they are)
-
Can't believe they took out both Miami and Denver. They could certainly beat rit or omaha as well and end up in the championship
-
Think they said 30 years ago was the only time providence was in the ff. They were in the ff in gf in 83
-
true, the old smoke filled room tourney selections in 83, best way to make sure the Sioux wouldn't win on home ice
-
We all get angry at crap calls and strange goal reviews during the season, but ending your tourney hopes on calls like that sucks bigtime.
-
I think that Scott, the team, and certainly the fans have to feel they got screwed over. Crappy way to be eliminated.
-
Thought that would be overturned after review, can't believe it wasn't. You could see the puck across the line before the whistle, which doesn't eliminate the intent to blow cya excuse. Not sure if that excuse was made? At the very least duluth could have gotten the Michigan had to be in call (vs omaha), but I guess they are not among the very limited number of teams who always get those calls "their way". Can't help but feel there was a bit of need to have a HE/Boston team in the FF, both with that call and the weak late in the game holding call that resulted in the BU ppg.

Could have been a lindgren trip
-
Looking like they did for most of the season
-
good luck with that after the wjc

Finally an eng, after miami nearly ties it
