  1. Missed by a year Guess I was just hoping that this year's juniors, and younger players that may leave early, would get a chance at a home regional. CC was one year late also.
  2. Next year's west regional will be at the ralph, or maybe someone said that already. Someone in the WCHA will eventually beat Mich in Mich. This year's regional is not at Yost. It's very likely WCHA teams will be 1 seeds in both western regions.
  3. Quite the young "ladies"
  4. Keep hoping, Wisco can't match the offensive/defensive combos of several teams in the WCHA.
  5. Unprecedented that a referee would get talked out of a goal by the AR's, and not check with the official responsible for determining if it was in time (the goal judge).
  6. This sounds like a POI-like group therapy session. Have to agree with PCM, message boards bring about over-reaction more than what occurs on the ice. The Sioux played well for 60 minutes on Saturday and I think Wisco is in deep doodoo if they meet the Sioux again, away from the KC. I think the team will rebound and be the better for it after the losses this weekend. It is nice to have something to play for during the last few series, rather than being able to coast home. It made the WCHA much more interesting down to the wire, and not just for the Sioux. It also puts all the top teams into a battle to avoid the play-in game in the final five, along with the problem of having to face a better bottom five team in the first weekend of the playoffs.

    hats off

Why is it morons show up after a couple wins.
  8. Obviously a contrary view. I have seen most Sioux games this year, and I've not seen one that the Sioux gave up almost no good scoring chances, while creating many of their own, until last night. That is what I called domination. If you factor in goaltending and final score, the result is much different, obviously. Which probably partially supports gobig's post. The Sioux defense was much better than Wisco's, yet they lost.
  9. Thank you for letting us know how good you think Wisco is. Hopefully we'll see you again in the final five.
  10. I agree, JN. The goaltending has been good all year, one bad weekend should not be the norm for the rest of the year. Also, it's time to pick a goalie to make the post season run. It's getting late in the year to be undecided.
  11. The goal makes little difference, but the call was that it occurred after the buzzer by the AR's (which was wrong), not because of a skate redirection. I also make my observations on Wisco. If this is how you win, while being dominated for 60 full minutes, you've been fortunate. That bodes even worse for the playoffs than the Sioux goaltending, which, prior to this weekend, has been very good. If we meet again, Bruckler will have to be the difference again, because beyond his goaltending the two teams are hardly evenly matched. If lack of puck possession is Wisco's style of play, hoping that the opponent makes a couple mistakes and the puck goes in, you don't have a chance in the postseason.
  12. Can feel the pain here. Fortunately titles aren't won (or lost) on message boards. I won't pass judgement until after the next few weekends I'd like to see Wisco again also. They have to be feeling a bit overconfident after the weekend. Winning is nice, but getting outworked in winning isn't the best result this time of year. Eaves' take: If that's how Wisco has won all year, good luck in the playoffs.
  13. That's correct. Shots 43-23; deja vu
  14. Badgers get no credit from me tonight, they were outplayed badly, and don't deserve the W
  15. TH doesn't have the final, he said if Duluth wins in OT they'll be in first by themselves.
  16. Nice rush, Murray again 4-2
  17. Sioux still are getting the only chances in the third, although not as many as in the second.
  18. And iced puck and Brandt gives it to the Wisco oman coming into the zone. Yuck.
  19. Wouldn't be surprised to see a new netminder for the third.
  20. Two good saves by Jpar on better chances than either goal.
  21. Prpich in alone, missed the net; then another great chance. Good goaltending vs. bad goaltending. THis game is starting to feel like last year if they don't come back in the third.
  22. Five hole goal for Wisco; another softie. Sioux still dominating, but now trail.
  23. First Parise in alone, then Genoway. Bruckler gets them both.
