Almost all calls have been hooking. A quick hook with a stick is the most common thing you see done, and, with the new emphasis on obstruction, are going to be called close. Players will have to get used to not doing it. It is hard to believe Maine has picked up on it already, though, considering the defensive , trapping, system they played last year.

Gotta love 5 minute PP's, especially when 3+ is 5 on 3. Sioux came out of that period lucky. Sounded like they dominated possession 5 on 5 (although there wasn't much), and even had some puck control for much of the shorthanded situations. Smoggy probably has a better idea, seeing it on TV.

Nice to skate off those penalties, although it sounded like a Maine shooting gallery out there, luckily few were on net.
