Yea.....I sat with my son in the section right next to the students....pretty sad with the "F" chants.

I don't have a hatred for the Badgers like I do the Goofs. For me, it comes down to the fans of each of those teams. Although I've only met a tiny percentages of all their fans, I can honestly say that I like the Wisconson fans I've met. I've met a number of them dating back to the good ol' days at the Westward Ho after a hard fought game, and even in Milwaukee for the '97 Championship. They were just great people. I remember the Badger fans that came out in support of the Sioux in '97...it was awesome!! On the other hand, the arrogance of Goof fans rubs me the wrong way. What probably put the icing on the cake, was when the Sioux played Ferris State at the X, and all the Goofie fans were cheering against the Sioux.

I agree....telling the press is like running to Mommy with a problem!!!

"Their team, they like to intimidate," Paukovich said. "They were saying stuff when I was on the ice but you got to expect that. That's the kind of team they are." He's bracing for the worst this weekend. " ******************* "I've talked to the coaches about it, and if that situation was to arise, (it's OK). If it happens Friday, they're fine with me settling it, because I'd just be out for Saturday," Paukovich said. "But as the series goes into Saturday, the coaches would be more concerned, because I'd be out the first game next week. "Either way, the only way they'd let me handle it that way is if something happens to me first, like if I get jumped."

I've stayed at numerous places in Duluth, but the best has to be the Hawthorne Suites. It is right across the parking lot from the DECC, and within a couple blocks of all the bars and food places. The suites are GREAT...very large with a living room, dining room, kitchen, fireplace, and two bedrooms (plus a pullout in the living room)... reasonable when you split it up with 6 peaple.
