Vanek played the Friday game....remember...the cheap shot at the end of the first period?? The one that should have gotten his ars thrown out. Oh wait...you forgot about that, didnt you? and it was October, not November. UMD is not a second rate program...even last year, our second rate team beat the Goofers at the DECC, when Vanek couldnt hit the broad side of a barn to get an empty net goal....which resulted in Stapleton coming down the side, taking a shot, and Jon Fransisco cleaning up the rebound. Believe me...we will meet in GR.....we'll hold up our end of the deal, hopefully the Goofers do the same.

Maybe for SCSU, but not for Mankato Since Charter has the rights to the home games, Victory can only do the road games. When they play UND, its on FSSN. UMD games usually are on WDIO, Channel 10 in Duluth. so that is a moot point. If my bill is going to go up 2.25 or more for that...no thanks. (other than when they are playing UMD or UND) The cable systems have asked for 2 options -less money they need to pay for it -if they want the 2.25, make it a Pay option..you want it, you pay for it.

3 reason right now why they wont get a deal with the big companies -2.20 per subscriber.....that is just asinine. in comparison, the YES network (which has the Yankees and Nets), when they started wanted $2 per subscriber. -They want it as a pay per option..Victory doesn't. I personally want the option of getting it if I want to, not having my bill go up becasue of it -Programming....Other than the Twins, what the heck else are they going to show...ESPN News?? The reason the smaller companies have a deal is they are in a better predicament than the big ones -most small cable companies have to compete with satellite. The more cable can offer, the better they look. Since in some of the areas, locals arent available on satellite, cable has an advantage. -Some cable companies are also run by the phone company..they may not raise the cable rates, but they'll find a way in those lovely "fees" of your phone bill.

Right now it isnt on there If Dish ever decides to add it, they would put it in their Top 120 or above package, along with FSN North

Last week (Friday) Victory sent out a notice to all the cable companies and DirectTV & Dish Network. They would give us Victory for free for the weekend, and they said they wouldnt put a scroll on the bottom having people call their cable company demanding Victory (that is the whole reason nobody took them up on their original offer, which was free for the Goofer B-Ball season...they didnt want the scroll on the bottom and when it would have been pulled the 1st week of March, the cable companies would look like the bad guys) Last I heard, nobody has taken them up on the offer. My contact at Dish Network hasnt even seen the document!!!!

Bummer...why can't they use KU band? I have a C/KU receiver, but no C band Dish

This is my favorite part They make it sound like they can't put "call your cable operator and demand Victory" because they arent producing it. BS... they can hijack the feed and put whatever they want on it. Since it sounds like ESPN is producing the games, they might be able via Analog C/KU (like Fridays Semi final was)

G3 is at 95 west G11 is at 91 west You would move the dish about an 1/8 inch Here is the problem.....The feed is Analog (not Digital. The normal feed is digital) So the only people who can pick it up are people with the old C/KU Band satellite receivers. Sportsbars should be able to (if they have an old C/KU Band system)
