All they changed was polarity & frequency From 12041 H 4880 to 12000 V 4880 Just because they changed the frequency they shouldnt have lost signal. I talked with a guy who had a 1.2 meter (twice the size of my dish) and he hit a booming 40 quality and it broke up all night. I suggest people e-mail the Ralph and explain the frustration...be polite though
-
hopefully they have their issues straightened out by 10/16 for the football game
-
ok...so it isnt all of our equipment if the cable version was just as bad. still sucks that I couldnt see it...I was stoked to watch college hockey...only to see 2/3 of it
-
I e-mailed Jamie at the Ralph to see if it was on their end. You might want to do it too. If you e-mail them, please do it politelly as if you holler they might not help jamiel@theralph.com

I've got 3 receivers and it scanend in as 12000 V 4880 I was so stoked...first college hockey game of the year and it scanned in at................ 32 quality on my Pansat 1500 30 on the Satowrk 3618 18 on my Viacast It was stable for the first period then got worse in the 2nd...dropeed to around 25 third period I gave up as I saw more of "BAD CHANNEL" than the game CCTV was at 94, so it wasnt the dish Had a motorized and a fixed. The fixed was at 95. I tried the motorized, same thing.

Got the accurate coordinates for this year Galaxy 3C KU, Transponder 14, Horizontal 12000.75 Mhz Symbol Rate 4.88 So the only difference is their frequency changed from 12041 to 12000

The DECC is a great old building Better than some arenas (SCSU, that sh**hole in Mankato) -Ice level is not the best....in fact, it sucks. Ive had ice level seats and its too hard to see the other end -The lower balcony has more leg room than the upper (the lower being the 4 rows with the plush red chairs) -The first row of the upper balcony you will have people walking in front of you -The rest of the seats are fine (love my centre ice season tickets 3 rows up)

Saturday afternoon I scanned G3 and almost passed out when it hit 12000 V the s/r was different (6.111) and it was tennis that was scrambled only 13 days until first game

Checked out the ralph site http://theralph.com/new2/Watch_The_Sioux_S...h_The_Sioux.php and they've added a note (a real nice one for lots of us) * For viewers outside the WDAZ coverage area, please watch the Fighting Sioux on your Fighting Sioux Sports Network.

I'm going to scan G3 on Thursday night just to see if there is a coach's show Yes, the 9.000 is the Symbol Rate Here is from the press release about TV... Fighting Sioux on TV: WDAZ-TV (Ch. 8) and the Fighting Sioux Sports Network will televise one home game in 2004, the Homecoming/Hall of Fame tilt against Minnesota Duluth on Oct. 16. The Fighting Sioux Sports Network (FSSN) covers Midcontinent Cable systems in North Dakota and Minnesota. The Midcontinent Cable telecast can be seen on Channel 23 in Grand Forks. Check local listings for the FSSN channel numbers in your area.

I'm a UMD fan but I do like watching the Sioux (actually...any college hockey game) so the KU band is worth it... Mine's motorized this year (thanks Pete)

There might be a reason to the amount of WDAZ games Sicne the end of the season, both Direct TV & Dish Network added the Fargo/GF locals. The only issue is, Dish Network hasn't settled on an agreement with WDAY & WDAZ, so those aren't on there right now. Part of the issue is, the FCC rule says you only have to carry one of the networks in the market, unless they are in different states. Since WDAZ & WDAY are both in the market, they asked for Dish to carry both and Dish doesn't want to. Since they both are licensed to ND, the rule says Dish only has to carry one. I hope some of those are carried on FSSN......wasn't some basketball games that were on WDAZ on FSSN too?

what they posted in the bottom is old, yes However, the coordinates were the old ones for a while, then changed to a totally different satellite, and now has the ones which we think are new.
