0 shots on goal, there goes the season...
-
Very happy we will be getting a player that scores last second goals... #stillhurting

fixed your post
I got a tingly, warm feeling when I thought of that possibility.
IF that happened & no one left early after this season, UND would be a juggernaut next year. Having superstar players doesn't always translate to success on the ice, but we would sure be stacked talent-wise similar to the 1986-87 season..

The only change here is he seems to have ruled out CHL.
Boeser says it's down to Wisconsin, NoDak, and Minnesota

Yes extraterrestrial or extrajudicial... ET did not come from very very Earth...

Glad so see Voltin doing well. I kind of feel for the kid, he went from team USA to struggling in Western North Dakota. Hope he finds what he lost.

The fact that Wolanin was added to the World Juniors team suggests that he is very high end. Hype != Quality.

Brock's junior year was legendary... And by that I mean it was a legend since it never actually happened.
Same way I think, a Brock Nelson as a freshman that may have developed into a Brock Nelson junior, etc. But if the reports are true that he wanted/thought he deserved PP and PK time then it's good he left. There were better options on that team for special team play (older/stronger players) than Tambo at that point. Make me think it was all about "me" and not team at all. Wonder how he interacted with his teamates during that first semester.
Must have thought that he would fast track to the NHL, we'll see how that works out for him. I think he'll age out of juniors before getting his chance, He better be strong and good by then or he'll be in the AHL or lower trying to improve his game/strength to get where he want's to be. There are few places better to do that than at UND with the facilities here. Playing lots of games make it harder to develop in those other areas.

The issue was the guy was a bean pole like many freshman are. Throw on 20 pounds and a year of experience and I think he is a legit top 6 forward. The CHL is more of a scoring league, while the NCAA focuses more on coaching and preparation. That said I would hate to have someone around who didn't bleed Sioux...

This is a good series to evaluate the leadership, if the Sioux play well they will win 2 lopsided games. Take it easy and an epic collapse is possible.

I know it doesn't mean a thing, but I still love it. #sorry #honest

Mine worked, but I noticed the connection was not nearly as good as it usually is. Normally I get the entire game in 720P it was dropping down quite a bit today.
-
Nope, Providence...
I get hockey is a physical sport but it seems UND has more injuries that affect the lineup than the team they play almost every weekend.
-
With the NCHC results in non conference it is only a matter of time before all NCHC schools start moving up. Where as last years the non conference killed us, this year the non conference will likely get 5 or 6 teams into the national tournament.

OK, now I will boldly say you are wrong... ;-)
I predict some college hockey CONTRACTION before other schools look to add hockey.

If a kid wears the USA sweater he is a blue chip recruit for a college program.
-
All 3 of the Fighting Sioux 98s that played for Team USA are blue chippers that we won head to head with Minnesota (at least 2 any way). AND all 3 are from Minnesota.
-
That was a classic example of an otherwise good goalie not showing up.
How about that loaded Toews led UND team that got absolutely lit up by BC? That was one of the worst feelings I've had watching a game ever. I've never seen an egg of that size laid before.
-
Oh I don't know, schedule UND in the middle of the winter.
Can you imagine the Sun Devils playing in downtown Phoenix at US Airways Arena? No way they fill that place.

How many Blue chip recruits does AIC get?
Wouldn't a winner see this as an opportunity to turn this around?
-
Smart kid might only play a couple of years in college sees Wisconsin DEAD LAST in PWR...
-
Yup, universal mediocrity...
Looks like the dreaded parity, to me.

Interesting week in the Top 10, Only UND and Lowell escape without a loss, and well UND had a little scare. I would expect Minnesota to remain #1, but UND will get some votes.
1 Minnesota 1-1
2 Union 0-2
3 North Dakota 1-0
4 Colgate 1-1
5 Boston College 1-1
6 Boston University 1-1
7 St. Cloud State 1-1
8 Massachusetts-Lowell 2-0
9 Providence 1-1
10 Miami 1-1

I stopped watching after the 2nd period last night. Did Hak get fired?
