Either way he will play his home games in front of a bunch of UND fans...
I was listening to tps guys podcast and jost noted that he is definitely leaning towards college and that he "really really liked ND". He did note that Denver is an option too though.

There was talk of a BU UND game at MSG last season.
Looking to make a deal with MSG Network?

Star Tribune coverage of Boeser:

+1 this made my day...
Never hurts to get an early start.

Let me flip this around on you, if you were these kids would you be excited about playing with that much talent?
-
Matthews is unlikely to play college hockey as a result of a fluke of his birthday.
-
UNO has a ton of underclass talent. I think they might be my preseason NCHC favorite unless Zane stays.

Goofs are masters at getting kids that peak in the 9th grade... :-) Actually though the kid is a player and I hope his development continues.

Yes, I believe he won the annual Robbie Earl award... Departures can change everything, but right now I would pick Omaha #1 UND #2 in the preseason poll.
And Cepis, as we all remember, transferred to Minnesota where he became a national diving champion.

looks like wisioux ties if Providence wins.

I'm concerned about the "Hak vs. Blais" match-up not panning out because when the potential of something taking place is discussed too much (like it is in the thread on this forum), IT WINDS UP NEVER HAPPENING! All week long I heard about how Michigan State could be this year's UConn and win the NCAA basketball title while taking out a 39-0 Kentucky team in the process. Sure enough, the Spartans get run out of the gym by Duke last night and Kentucky is promptly upset by Wisconsin! The Kansas City Royals winning the World Series? Of course the Giants had to break everyone's heart. Peyton Manning winning the Super Bowl two years ago? They're gonna KILL Seattle! Go figure, right? So, enough about Hak vs. Blais and North Dakota vs. Omaha for the title - it's time to discuss Providence vs. Boston U in the title game - the true "dream" match-up!
Without further ado, here are the top five reasons why Providence College vs Boston U is the game we should all be hoping for:
#5) Because Boston is better than anywhere else in America. Just ask someone who lives there.
#4) You mean they actually play college hockey west of UConn? When did THAT start?
#3) Nobody really cares about those western teams anyways. Do they even have electricity and running water in Omaha and Grand Forks?
#2) Because Dave Starman and the rest of those NCHC homers can go home and we can listen to the HE "professionals" during title game coverage. It never gets old hearing someone say "twisted wrist-ah" or "wicked hodd slap shot."
and, most importantly,
#1) Because "New England" and Boston in particular, have never won ANYTHING major in sports and it's about time they did!
-
Not sure if it has been discussed, but I really hope we get "let them play" refs. Too many PKs would be a killer against BU.
-
This Toews guy is OK, I think he has a future in the game...
-
I would have gone with "Minnesota to drop down to DIII hockey."
-
If you told me that we were going to get 2 of the big recruits that are out there. Boeser, Mismash, Jost, Fabbro, Matthews I would have been pretty happy. Now I am just greedy... I do think that until he is on campus Mismash is a CHL risk. Though as a Minnesota kid, a little less so.
-
The thing about Stecher, LaDue, and Poolman is that they are older so they may go sooner...
-
Yup...
Blackheart just stated on USCHO that Mathews has committed to Minnesota. An April Fools perhaps?
-
My 2 cents on Hak, I have never seen a team block 50 shots in a regional, ever. Talent is great, but that kind of effort is legendary.

He is still young so it can change quickly, but a potential 1st round NHL draft pick, so big get.
When's he projected to come? Also how elite of a prospect is he? Boeser level?

Wilke USHL player to the week. 5 assists? He must have had 5 shots hit someone in front :-)

OK Jim, I'm flying to DC on Friday, where should I try to watch the games if televised?

Wow at this second RPI is tied...
And just like that Denver goes final and the Sioux are up by 5 10000ths.
