  1. There's no better healthy QB on our sideline? Yikes
  2. I just don't see Hoff there yet, nor anyone else so I agree. Gersich needs that support to play his game. He's not really a guy that does it all on his own very often
  3. I call 3 shot attempts and 1 crappy shot on goal this PP.
  4. Ornin the stands until he learns to move his feet. I'm glad people finally agree with me about him.
  5. I think we're even better at shooting it into bodies than last season.
  6. He can't even push himself out of his pivot. That was his lane. He's like an offensive lineman on skates. He has the reflexes of a dairy cow.
  7. 100% gardners fault. Too slow to be on the kill. Wow
  8. He's got a better chance of winning the chuck a puck
  9. UND should have a little better luck scoring after mixing up the lines a bit. This team went 0-2 vs Big Ten teams last weekend and only scored 2 goals between the 2 games. I think UND sweeps even if they have a poor showing. UND 4-1 and 4-2
  10. But it swings both ways. UND beat them last year, and very well could again next year with a healthy roster.
  11. Unfortunately half the season will be gone by then so they could dig a major hole by that time.
  12. I guarantee this UAA team will lose several 6 goal games this season. The fact that UND is on pace to only score 1 time through 2 games is pretty troubling.
  13. Hot goalie?!?! kinda looks like we might run into a lot of hot goalies this season again.
  14. Couldn't ask for more of an exciting game! UND shot themselves in the foot a few times but man they fought hard and wouldn't quit. Defense looked much improved too. I agree about JJ, I think we can afford to give him a handful more touches next weekend. Studs played pissed and showed how much of a competitor he is. We're lucky to have him. Putting up 48 is pretty impressive, especially when we had the ball on the 1 yard line 2 separate times only coming away with 3 points. Found a way to win, congrats team.
  15. How is UND constantly catching routes 1 yard short of the sticks?
  16. Well for starters-- CC's goalie had a year long save percentage of .899 and had a .944 against UND. I'm sure there are worse ones out there than that!
  17. I thought the exact same thing when I read that. If we're going to start comparing to last year's powerplay as a bench mark, UND PP is screwed.
  18. I just meant our meaning of adversity might be in the wrong place. UND was already fighting adversity by putting themselves in a tight game late in the 3rd with a horrible program. In my eyes, dealing with that adversity well would've been by UND stepping up and potting a 2nd goal to put that ugly game to bed. Instead they let in a very late goal letting it go to OT. In OT they put themselves in an even worse situation of a 5-3 disadvantage. Sure, getting out of that is a start, but I feel like we're picking a pretty tiny positive when you step back and look at the big picture. I wasn't saying killing a 5-3 was a bad sign, just getting themselves into that spot in the first place was a bad sign and getting out of it feeling good is sad. As for the goalie-- Everyone see's his stat line as 1 GA on 33 shots. You don't see the missed open netters and tap ins that he had nothing to do with. Sure he had a great game on top of that, but I'm saying it seems like we end up saying that about A LOT of goalies, so what makes this guy any different. "Their goalie had the hot hand." "but their goalie stood on his head". Get some odd man breaks, get some unstoppable scoring chances. When you are dominating play that badly, you should get those opportunities to score those types of goals, and it doesn't matter who the goalie is those types of plays. No I don't expect 10 goals a game, but when any team dominates the puck possession and shots on goal that heavily, I really think it has a lot to do with what type of shots are being taken more than it has to do with the goalie himself.
  19. Prime example of someone who knows nothing about hunting, or fire arms trying to preach on corrective action. Are you from California? Silencer...LAWLZ
  20. I wonder if we will see more of those 3 you just listed on the PP tonight since it went so poorly last night. I'd like to see Olson and Gardner off it for sure and to be replaced by Kawaguchi and Jones.
  21. I highly doubt they will shuffle the lines for the game tonight. Guaranteed they will for next weekend if they play as poorly tonight
