Good examples, you're right on both of those. But I still think blended in more than he stuck out throughout the year. 3 goals in the final 8 games (including post season) doesn't really scream NHL ready. He'll get there, but I hope his early NHL arrival doesn't continue to hinder his potential. I see he got a goal last night, so I hope he can build off of that. Big success with team CANADA could give him a boost as well.

There's a lot of season left, but it sure seems like Century is in a league of their own out West. The GFK Holiday tournament is going to be HUGE! I wish Davies could take BHS's place this year to make it even more interesting. IMO Century, RR, Central and Davies seem to be in a pack far ahead of anyone else.

It wasn't just my biased and selfish opinion wanting him to stay another year. He has all the potential in the world...he just wasn't ready to leave yet. 1 more would have done him wonders, 2 years would've done even more. He never really stuck out in any of the big games. Toooooo soon. We could've used him this year too

I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering which team had more Legacy kids on their team. I would hate to see West teams broken up like that because the west needs as many advantages as they can get. Look at how bad the Fargo schools and WF schools are doing since the break ups. Shanley, South AND Oak Grove have to combine to make one really poor team.

Yeah I was pretty upset when I saw that those 2 had to face off as they were the only 2 I wanted to see win. All in all, as long as ANYONE other than NDSU wins I will be ecstatic. Can Wofford do it today? Damn I'd be pumped if they did.

I certainly agree Century will beat Dickinson, but I'm thinking it should be a respectable final. I really think Dickinson will take Minot down the following night though. Maybe they will start to solidify as the #3 in the West. Davies will hang in there but Central just has too much fire power. It's amazing how well they re-stacked already. It doesn't look like Century will get tested much until the Grand Forks Holiday Tournament at the end of December when they get to play both of the Grand Forks teams. That''ll answer a lot of the East vs West questions.

Looks like some good matchups this weekend. Century vs Dickinson, Davies vs central, north vs grafton, and Dickinson vs minot. Those should be some close games and will probably give us some insight on how the standings will start sorting out

How was Ohio State even considered in the top 4? I just didn't understand the argument there? They had 2 losses and one of them was a blow out loss to IOWA. As much as I don't want to see BAMA in the mix again, it would've been ridiculous seeing them being left out after only 1 loss on the road vs Auburn.

High only beats Detroit Lakes 2-1 and Dickinson puts up big numbers again by beating Bott 10-4. The midgets have played marginal competition so far, but they're showing some firepower by averaging nearly 10 goals a game through their first 3 games.

I think we need to see some production out of the freshies this weekend to get a split or better. Even though this is supposedly Pogos type of matchup, I don't see him contributing much on the score sheet. He'll wear and tear, but continue his slump of a season.
