it was his first season, he WONT be traded, he produced every game he played pretty much. with a team that good its hard for a rookie to come in and get a spot every night. he proved what he can do and he wont play another game in the AHL. he is their first round pick, hes not going anywhere....just how the nhl works sometimes...

it wouldnt suprise me to see players leave after they said they would stay but in this case its a bit different, they really came together and said we want #8, osh,duncs and chorney and finley if oshies decision was based on toews then why did he declare he was staying so early?? exactly, expect these guys all to be in sioux unis! but..............if osh left i wouldnt fault him at all or duncs..just how it goes sometimes

it would be HUGE for us in a few ways. experience, he does have good skills and will get better. losing toews is a huge hit but i think we all expected it, at least i hope we all did.....and to have everyone else come back speaks volume and making a statement that they are going big time for #8!!
