our scoring is very balanced having 12 players in double digit points including 4 of our 6 d men and our D has been on a tear lately. heres to jones getting his first point of the season vs the gophers wow, just looking at our 7 game win streak. given up 1 goal in a game 5 times and 10 total goals in the 7 games. very nice numbers. keep the gophers to 2 - 3 a night and i like our chances. go sioux if we are fortunate enough to grab 4 points this weekend that puts up 1 point behind CC with having played 2 more league games than them but still they will notice that we are right there. we are 2 points up on denver but they have played 4 less league games than the sioux. bottom line, keep winning and good things can happen

man, just tell barriball its right in the middle of the ice on each end. its outlined in red metal and has a white net. this is the crappy part, there is usually a guy with pads on trying to prevent anyone from putting the puck in. hope this helps jay as its obvious he needs a little help. oh yeah, make sure he doesnt shoot at the net wit the same color jersey as hes wearing. that should be it. best of luck bare a balls

im guessing that the sunday being easter weekend isnt gona fly well.

RECAP tough road series coming up........have to play a full 60 minutes each night......cant have a breakdown on their ice........this is a important series for both clubs and minnesota is desperate so we need to play smart hard nose hockey and capitalize on PP opportunities.......everyone is healthy........had a solid week of practice..........miller is back to full strength but not sure if he will be in the lineup as of yet..........always fun playing in mariucci as there are always many sioux fans obvious caller question - hey coach, whats te biggest difference of playing on a olympic sheet rather than your sheet hak answers - more room to work in the corners and more break out room call from gopher fans trying to get hak in trouble talking about recruits - hi coach, are you recruiting KO because i heard he may want to come to Minny for a couple years each to wear the GOLDEN M and what about phil kessel every night in the wcha is a tough game , doesnt matter if its the gophers or alaska...........great having jonny back last weekend.........the guys enjoyed that....played ok friday nigth and didnt play well at all saturday nigth but good teams find a way to get the W when not playing that well on ncertian nights..........lets step on the gophers throat this weekend

the usual solid gopher fans have been around talking hockey here but the trolls that usaully pop out of their holes this time of year are afraid to talk smack. plain and simple.

the whole soft goal thing has cost him his job, bottom line.. i dont think frazee gives you the best chance to win anymore. i did think that before hand but hes a mental headcase out there. no stability and does stupid stuff while on the ice. kangas and he have played the same amount of games. kangas has 5 ties which is crazy. hes 5-4-5 .918 sv% while frazee is 6-7 with a bad .890 sv%. the gophers arent going anywhere this season either way and frazee wont be back either way so play the young guy and keep getting him experience vs good wcha teams. i do agree if frazee does start anytime soon it will be a make or break thing which is pretty obvious i guess.

he is having a hell of a seaosn in the ajhl. leads all statistic categories. great to see

frazee could have just been a goalie that couldnt take the pressure of playing every night. he was the man right away this year for the first time with minnesota after splitting time and maybe it just got to him. theres no way i play him if im lucia. kangas has proven he can at least hold the gophers in most games if he can hold the oppenent to 3 goals or under but if it gets higher than that the hophers are in trouble. either way i dont see frazee back next season so might as well get kangas as much big game experience as you can get him.

shattuck will be playing some high school teams this weekend in benilde and holy angels. im guessing those will be some good games eidsness got another win last night improving stopping 29 of 30 shots and improved his record to 22-3-2 with a 1,97 GAA
