i agree on this. hows ness looking? the games i saw on tv he is a very good skater and puck handler but lacks serious size and doesnt seem to be putting up the numbers you would think from a guy with that skill and hype. im sure kevin gorg already had a hobey highlight video made for him but probably will start working on schroeders instead sorry, that guys not good at all for their broadcasts. too much of a fan like all of we are to do that job

lets not start comparing eidsness to kangas at all but i did see you expressed "right now", kangas has shown so far hes the real deal with a couple hic ups and im sure the umTC fans will chime in and make their own points as well on it. but...as of now he has a record like kangas's last year but may end up playing more games than AK did last season. similar type of team he has last season as well struggling to score as of now. lets hope that changes this weekend! ill take a trip to harvard to see if we can actually put 2 games together scoring goals first then in a month maybe we will be clicking

it is a nice tourney to win and others have brought that up in the past but i like NC$$ title banners and regular season wcha titles only to be hung. very clean looking and is rewarding the long season of hard work for both of those. any team can sneak into the final 5 and maybe run a 2 or 3 game tourney and get a banner. i like it the way it is.

like the gophers are world beaters. please. lets worry about harvard, scsu, mich st and maybe mich over the holidays then bsu before the umtc series this team will be fun to watch and see what happens. hak will show a lot this year either way with this team. long live fighting sioux hockey. go sioux, beat the smaat kids up and down the ice!! and yes you are right, the goalie isnt a problem at all. its scoring goals as a whole and finishing when having great opportunities

weakness at goaltending? sorry. have to agree to disagree there BE has been a bright spot for the sioux overall along with this freshman class as a whole i think he and the staff already realize his potential or he wouldnt be at UND and playing every game in the last 9. i know what your point was though. i get it but he is the man right now in net and gives this team the best chance to win. he allowed 2 goals on saturday, not the 3nd til later in the game. 3 goals wins that game or maybe 2 goals wins that game if we score that 2nd goal. who knows but he is not a weakness by any means. you like aaron walski which is evident but i wouldnt use the word weakness in any sentence with BE. lets hope the team overall gets it rolling this weekend and can score goals both nights in front of BE. oh well.....just win baby!! the sioux have been losing and are 3 games under .500 for one reason. lack of scoring overall. score a night and i bet the sioux sweep this coming weekend GO SIOUX - beat the smaaat kiks

i think joe is a huge factor in all of this overall. hope he is back by the new year which would be great for this team. does miller go back to forward? i would assume so but i guess who the hell knows as blood sat this weekend a game and has been one of the best defenders we have behind zach jones. with joe back that brings 3 solid defensive d men with joe throwing in a few asissts here and there. finehage and blood would be nice to see both games this weekend. this freshman class is very good as a whole. genoway and miller are the 2 players that can make things happen on the blueline offensive wise and they have shown that. lets hope the guys can put it together offensively for 2 games vs the smaaat kids.. i sure hope we see blood and fienhage both games this weekend vs the SMAAAAAT kids blood has been one of our most solid d men with jones if not then it would be nice to see marto and lapoint who are offensive d-men and have the talent but for whatever reason are just struggling right now break the point total tie they share with brad eidsness. i know overall the team is struggling to score night to night and if they can start contributing i believe it can trickle down but 14 games in with 0 points is tough to look at on the stat sheet. and to those who think if you call out a player is throwing them under a bus im not bashing players if anyone looks at it like that. its calling a spade a spade and i know these guys an play and contribute and i think the sioux need it badly from them. not just from genoway and miller on the scoring sheet. i know these guys can play or they wouldnt be at UND. hope they can break out vs the smaaat kids. The Sioux face another ECAC team traveling to Harvard who is coming off a 5-1 loss to Boston College. Harvard has played Cornell and lost 2-1. just watched miller and hak on the sioux xtra press conference today MILLER SAID - not happy with the showing last weekend and have had 2 hard days of practicing and working out. we arent getting bounces but that isnt why things arent going right. that they are getting outworked in specific areas and they have to create their own bounces to get good things going. COACH HAKSTOL SAID - maybe cornell is the right test at the right time and hopefully they present the best challenge possible. take a close look at how they play and we have to continue concentrating on ourselves and improving on how we play. we have to get ourselves in the right frame of mind as a team and there is only one way to get there and thats to work our way there. they go to cronell next year in january for a return trip. mid january fri-sat series.
