  1. they sure will. i believe both will be gone if they continue the solid play. bachman is a 4th round pick of dallas and kangas is a 5th rounder by atlanta. both drafted in 2006 and im sure both teams would like to get them into their AHL systems with how good both have been numbers wise.
  2. they are and oh well. if its gona be loud at times and when it should be then the band and students can make it that way. ive been to many college sporting events in az and back there and it all starts with those two on creating atmosphere. go sioux, kick the crap out of the dogz............
  3. eidsness wcha co rookie of the week, nice eidsness
  4. sure does. those are rough numbers and have been my point overall for a couple weeks. the team overall is struggling here and there but i think it would be a huge boost if those changed by 5 or 6 by holiday break time. all being said SIOUX SWEEP 5-2 - kozek, gregoire, frattin, genoway,vv 6-3 - duncan, trupp, kozek, toews, hextall, marto eidsness with a couple W's
  5. i understand the size of the arena makes for a different setting and enviroment but it still can be loud if chosen to be. its not the old ralph as we all know so its silly to compare them. i know you didnt blackheart, im just saying that in general but the students should be on their feet the whole game except timeouts and intermissions to chill out for a minute. the band is key as well as stated.
  6. the band can really help the noise factor and chants. no doubt about it. the band is key for that type of stuff and to get chants going during big PK or PP or other times during the game where it may get quiet.
  7. JPL is now 10-2-1 with a .933 SV5 and a 2.20 GAA. Next closest in league is 6 wins. He has played every game unlike others im sure in the ECHL but a hell of a start for JPL. nice! http://echl.leaguestat.com/stats/statdispl...&season_id= fabian is also playing for the aces but is on the DL as of now for the month per brad
  8. students should be allowed to stand the whole game. it creates a more intimidating atmosphere overall. its a joke that they arent allowed to. why? because of the suite holders? im assuming thats the only reason if they cant see. its a college sport, come on. 4 letter chants dont happen often but will happen and they cant do a thing about it. be loud and crazy and throw dead animals on the ice this is brought up every season and its the same stuff.
  9. eidsness has been solid and as he says, he is getting more comfortable as time goes on. he came in friday and held serve and made that HUGE save on that breakaway that kept the sioux in the game before they made that late comeback. i like what we have seen from eidsness and he will only keep getting better.
  10. true, i guess team wise its still not clicking like it should with goals per game. lets hope that changes this weekend and we dont run into the hot goalie syndrome the top line is the only line producing overall. hextall, duncs and vv and the rest are struggling as of now. it will change this weekend
  11. i dont think its the deciding factor in games by any means but i do believe having 5 of 7 d men without a point isnt a good thing overall. im not saying they need to bury goal after goal but it would be nice to see some chances crated on the blueline here and there. finley is a physical presence no doubt but he also brings some offense to the mix which will be nice. he had 4-11=15 last year which was solid. i sure hope we can grab 4 points this weekend. would be huge for the sioux and for the wcha standings. if miller does stay on the blueline which it looks like he will right now he will get in that 20-30 range which would be great.
  12. i bet the coaches have no problems with his antics. i bet it shows the kid cares and is crazy compettive. he will be playing everynight if the sioux want to win. not a knock on aaron at all but it seems sometimes teams play different in front of different goalies. who knows but this is bvrads team in my eyes
  13. i think they are more comfortable with miller right now with our defense producing close to nothing points wise. 5 of our real d men have a goose egg for points and i think the coaches like what he brings right now over fienhage. guys like marto and lapoint have to start producing in the scoring column with their offensive talent. i think miller brings that as of now with finley out. corey has played fine when in and im sure he will get more chances as the season goes on. i rally like what he and blood bring overall. a very nice freshman pair of d men
  14. there ya go. nice!
  15. i dont remember any road games being offered on the sioux webcast at all except the first year they did webcasts a while back. i know what you are saying but i still have never seen webcasts offered on the road through siouxxtra at all. usually home games only.
  16. not crazy one bit to me in college hockey unless you play cupcakes all the time. hes played barley 1 season total game wise and the wcha isnt the easiest league to get shutouts in. cant wait to see brad playing in duluth. hes gona pick up 2 wins and the important 4 points
  17. Eidsness has all the Sioux wins this season and I say that trend continues for a long time this season. The WCHA all around is tough
  18. The Sioux are coming off another WCHA series split vs the Seawolves. A poor effort Friday night until the last 2 minutes made for the split. The Sioux followed that up by a nice win Saturday getting late goals to clinch another 2 points behind a great performance by Brad Eidsness. Duluth is coming off a 3-3 tie at home Friday to the UW and then a 4-1 loss Saturday to UW. Do Kozek and Trupp come out with a new purpose after getting benched Saturday night...Eidsness is the man and was very very solid from late Friday and all game Saturday...Big Joe will not be back until after the 1st half as it sounds so the Sioux defensemen besides Genoway have to start producing in the scoring columns. I know miller has points but has only played 3 games at D. Marto and Lapoint are looked upon and needed for production and lets hope it starts this weekend!! GO SIOUX Who's WARMING up for the Sioux - Brett Hextall who has scored 4 goals in 4 consecutive games and Ryan Duncan who has 2 goals, 3 assists in last four games. Both tied for team lead with 4 goals each. LAST SEASON - Sioux went 3-1 vs UMD last year. Split at the Ralph and then swept UMD in Duluth later in the season. WCHA STANDINGS WEBCAST INORMATION LINK - B2 LIVE - $ 7.00 PER GAME Overall Record: 4-6-0 (.400) WCHA: 4-4-0, 8 points Home: 2-2-0
  19. easy gopher lover, nobody was saying a bad word about kangas. i think everyone here knows hes dam good. he never compared brad to either of the two goalies. he was just saying its possible when you get to play every game. nobody said alex wasnt a animal as you call him either brad will play night in and night out from now on so he will get that opportunity to put up very solid numbers

  22. just wondering who you would want hired then have to back up the want with a name let me guess............dean blais
  23. i always will but that was pathetic for 58 minutes. no reason for that from a team like this. hope they can come back and play tomorrow like they did late and get 2 points. whatever. go sioux
  24. no, meant toews. gregoire was laughing after he got hit and was in during the last minute i believe
  25. yes they can. concussion can linger for a while Bruneteau, one of our recruits last year missed tons of time for des moines. concussions are head injuries
