SIOUX Recruits - 2008-09 Updates, Monitoring Their Junior League Play
AZSIOUX replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
danny mattson with 5 points in 5-3 win over hill murray tonight 2 goals, 3 assists putting him at 11-24=35 points in 11 gp for this season so far -
usually the kids drafted later are considered to go the college route but just in case they hold the rights. malone was drafted as well i believe. its very rare for a MJ team take flyer on a kid if hes even 50/50. i have taken notice in the long list of recruits we have right now that we have NO BCHL players coming as of now. could just be the luck of the draw or maybe by purpose. many minnesota kids coming in the next 1-3 years and a couple ajhl players. great mix.

ok, good.............. just making sure

do you honesty believe that goon? are you serious? just dont get the whole reffing and the gophers stuff. i watch just as many games as others and this just seems silly to me to think and to state. the penalties were called fine this last weekend. im glad they lat stuff go in order to keep flow to the game and didnt have a problem with anything that was called. we sweep the gophers in dominating fashion ansd reffing still is brought up. maybe its just me but it seems a bit of a stretch what you have said. i understand the refs arent great in the WCHA and many would agree with that but the constant ref arguments dont fly with me.

per brad, saw this posted elsewhere as well. great job guys! Duncan, Gregoire are players of week UND forward Ryan Duncan is the offensive player of the week and Jason Gregoire is the rookie of the week in the WCHA. Duncan shared the offensive player of the week honor with Wisconsin's Jamie McBain. Both Duncan and Gregoire had three-goal weekends as UND swept Minnesota in Ralph Engelstad Arena. Gregoire also had an assist. Gregoire had the game-winner on Friday night and Duncan had the winner on Saturday night. Gregoire was the first star on Friday night and Duncan was the first star on Saturday night. Gregoire and Duncan were placed on the top line together for the first time two weekends ago against Bemidji State. Sioux players in weekly honors Nov. 18 -- Brad Eidsness, WCHA rookie of the week Dec. 2 -- Matt Frattin, WCHA offensive player of the week Dec. 9 -- Brad Eidsness, WCHA rookie of the week Dec. 16 -- Brett Hextall, WCHA rookie of the week Jan. 6 -- Chris VandeVelde, WCHA offensive player of the week Jan. 13 -- Ryan Duncan, WCHA offensive player of the week Jan. 13 -- Jason Gregoire, WCHA rookie of the week

not at all. almost everything is the ND logo as you said. just a bunch of ugly stuff that couldnt sell to begin with
-
exactly what i thought. he knew exactly what was going on when jones lined up next to him. jones wouldnt have lined up there if there wasnt a agreement to dance when the puck was dropped. oh well, series over. sioux throttled the gophers ion every way possible. lets do the same to tech this weekend!!
-
and thats what you have to do as we have to turn to tech who embarassed us 3 weeks back - go sioux
-
theres been info posted on him, info on brads blog and you can find is stats on the ajhl website hes a very good player. 12th in ajhl as a rookie this year and is a all star as a rookie
-
ill lean towards no on him as well as morin. simply hunches but olsen would be very nice
-
so we are 8-2 in the last 10 since beginning of december. not bad with a crappy hic up in detroit. keep scoring and we will be making nice strides all around 3 home series left agaisnt DU, MSU and CC so nice to have those home 4 away series vs MTU, SCSU, UAA and UW to end the regular season take care of business this weekend and that DU series becomes very very big
-
ill guess and say no on morin

attack sorry davek. if he wanted to attack him he would have not given lucia a chance to skate away after the puck was dropped. im guessing lucia knew what was up as im sure he noticed jones lined up next to him. you always know whos next to you on every faceoff. you obviously see it very different than the majority. jones dropped the gloves and helmet and lucia wanted no part either way and the refs got to jones. he didnt attack him. if that was the case he wuld ave sucker punched him and not drop the gloves and helmet like you are suppose to do. over this - go sioux and whoop the crap out of tech
