SIOUX Recruits - 2008-09 Updates, Monitoring Their Junior League Play
AZSIOUX replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
i dont see much chay in him at all. hes huge and maybe the only similarity may be puck handling skills. this kids the real deal and will be a high draft pick. he is all around very good -
Have to have the 2 points...........nothing else needs to be said GO SIOUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
-
i like that making it equal for every team league wise. i hate that even now you play some teams twice or not. wcha play should be even with the games and who plays who then you can add a couple more non conference weekends like you said. good idea

wow, thanks. sweet breakdown and jim im sure you have been told you look like doogie howser right?
-
i dont know if 11 teams is a issue for scheduling since nobody plays eachother twice every season anyhow. i think it would be just fine with 11 because every team will play the same amount of wcha games either way
-
gotcha, even if those teams did get d-1 progams it wuld take them many years to be valid and able to compete vs the existing teams. what about bsu and neb omaha to make it an even 12. im not even thinking about less games vs rivals and so on for those who bring that up because in the end we have no say what so ever in this. im just wondering if they would want a 11 team league or make it a even 12. not sure if that would matter. i guess we will know for good in april
-
i believe thats correct. i have a email into my guy in bemidji to get the exact number
-
when i saw the layout last year when back in bemidji i thought i saw around 4,500 seats or so.
-
the fans wont be the issue as we know the sioux fans could fill the 4 thousand seats there or whetever it is by themselves. the beavers know whats right and they will do whats right when it comes time. the beavers and the sioux have established a very very great relationship and a nice semi-rivalry as well and it will only turn bigger if bsu gets into the wcha and so on. like it or not the beavers may get in and if so then you roll with it and welcome them. us fans dont have any say in this at all but i also understand both sides pros and cons. will be very interesting in april to see what happens
-
ive heard it will be UND to open their arena when done. the gophers are a joke when it comes to traveling as discussed in other threads and they sure and hell havent done jack squat for bemidji ever so thats a joke to have them open their arena which they wotn anyhow. the only time the gophers went to bemidji was when my boy demarchi played for the gophers as hes from there. thats the only reason. the sioux will open it up when time comes
-
i dont think that would ever be formed anytime soon. not enough programs to do so in the real big 10. we have no say in this matter as we all know. it will be up to the 10 teams. they will need 8 votes to get them in. should be interesting.
