  1. you and cardinal seem to have a realistic look at this. i see the same thing watching the gophers here and there when on tv here in az. what i see and have seen the last few years is there is no toughness at all and that wont change until you guys get toughness in house. always look forward to this series as many here do, wish i could make it to minny for the series. always enjoy bar hopping down there for this rivalry and having fun with the fans. sorry bc/bu fans, this is the best rivalry in college hockey is matson out for the gophs?? i thought i read he git hurt again. is that the gophs only injury?
  2. do we know if the sioux are that interested in him? ill guess they are but maybe have others ranked higher for what they need. just wondering and also like you say the D is very full and then if you throw in the realistic possibility of chay returning for a 5th year. that will throw everything off if you really break it down. i know they will cross that path when they need to and lets hope its not even crossed and chay is back soon but thats a possibility.will be fun to see what forwards end up commiting in the next year did anyone get to see jason clark from shattuck play this last weekend when that tourney was at the ralph?

  5. any news out there on potential recruits that may have visited und or that und has been watching? gracias
  6. hell yeah a sweep would be huge in so many ways and its possible. just need the same solid defensive play to carry over to the big rink at the ucci. frattin is now in full swing after a couple weeks and kristo gets 5 full days off or 2 days off for the first time in who knows how long. the roster is thin so just 1 back up for each spot now in davidson and hill so stay healthy! 6 game unbeaten streak vs the gophs! keep it rolling
  7. yeah he needs to tone it down a little, i agree with that but i wouldnt change up much if i were him. i love how hes been hitting! a split is probably the most likely scenerio. just want fridays game first that what if tool is pretty cool to mess with
  8. blood, fienhage and macwilliam need to continue the hitting and put some gophers on the ice
  9. win and most importnatly create some seperation in the standings and also a win or 2 could drop them right out of the pairwise where the gophers sit with a pairwisae of 0 at #25
  10. The Fighting Sioux are heading into Minneapolis after sweeping MSU and Minnesota is coming off a home sweep vs the smaaaaaat kids from Harvard. The Sioux are 3-0-1 in their last 4 games after struggling a few weeks right away without star defensemen Chay Genoway and the Gophers have won 7 of their last 9 games after a 4 game skid in November. The Sioux are 4-0-2 in their last 6 games vs Minnesota including a 4-0 win and 3-3 tie this last October in Grand Forks........ Go Sioux!! Sioux Injuries - Genoway, Hextall 4-5 weeks, Knight 4-6 weeks PAIRWISE RANKINGS as of 1/10/10 - sioux #9 and gophers make first visit into top 25 in a long while at #25 WCHA STANDINGS Overall Record: 12-6-4 (.636) WCHA: 8-6-2, 18 points Home: 7-2-3
  11. solid win for the sioux. nice seeing denver getting held to 1 point. lets get another 2 tomorrow night and sweep those mavs!

  14. its all about chay. this is a above average ncaa tourney team team without genoway and the results in the last 10 games back this up. hell you could even say below average looking at wins and losses but i think we all know they are still very good. with genoway they are a legit ncaa title contender and then add frattin in the mix and we may have something IF or ill say WHEN chay gets back i know im not uncovering anything we all dont already know but just saying......they can still be very good without chay but he did so much out there and it could take another couple weeks to put it all together without him. go find me another team and take a top 10 player in college hockey and sit him for a couple months and see what happens. the good thing is the team is playing better, still blew a 2 goal lead vs the domers but as hak said and blood echoes that the sioux are starting to get it together sioux sweep mavs with blood, fienhage and macwilliam hittting everything on the ice in purple legally of course and ride kristos play along with a couple from frattin!
