I look for these 4 players to have huge seasons Danny Kristo - big time speed and this could be his time to really shine. Not that he hasn't but I really think Danny is going to have a hell of a year! Corban Knight - has been so reliable and kind of under the radar unless youre his opponent. But not anymore. May be one of the best all around forwards in the nation. Brock Nelson - big time hands, guess it's in the water up in warroad with him and tj. we saw glimpses last year of what he can do. I'm sure he's worked his butt off this summer and will be ready to play a top forward spot for the sioux. Rocco Grimaldi - cant wait to see these skills at the Ralph very soon! Is expected and will have am immediate impact for this Sioux squad. Will be interesting to see who he plays next to. And then the Rocco chants I'm sure will become a staple! My 4 other freshman to have an impact... Macmillin Odonnell Mattson St Clair X factor - Dillon Simpson...great hockey sense from what we saw as the youngest player in the nation iirc. Guessing he will be a main factor on the pp with forbort as well. Dillon has some big time tools on that blueline and as hak as mentioned his role will be much bigger come oct 7. If Dell can keep his solid play up this team will win a lot of games, again! Mac and Blood could be most physical d men in the country and glad they are wearing the Sioux sweater! Bruising future NHL d men. Bring on the ice breaker and hope we get a crack at BC in the home rink!! Go Sioux

Go Jets!! great for jason

i dont post much if at all regarding other threads from sites but it seems many have a great deal of respect for grimaldis game and where he could have been drafted if a few inches taller. link agree or disagree its a interesting read regarding rocco.

ambroz stating he's more north dakota style post draft is classic. cant miss first rounder a couple years back. do you throw kristo and girmaldi around miller and see what happens?? could be interesting

sorry if a re-post Hf NCAA Draft review The WCHA once again dominated NCAA conferences at the NHL Draft. Incoming University of North Dakota center J.T. Miller led the parade of conference players selected, going in the first round (16th overall) to the New York Rangers. Miller, who will be part of North Dakota's stellar incoming class this fall, was one of three Fighting Sioux players taken in this year's draft - all of whom went in the first four rounds. It is often said that good things come in small packages. Apparently the Florida Panthers and the Columbus Blue Jackets thinks so too. Florida's only two collegiate selections in this year's draft are under 5'9, centers, and were taken relatively early. University of North Dakota-bound Rocco Grimaldi, the smallest player in this year's draft at 5'6, was chosen 33rd overall (second round). Looking Ahead to 2012 The early top NCAA committed player for the 2012 NHL Draft is Sioux City (USHL) defenseman Jordan Schmaltz. The Verona, WI has committed to the University of North Dakota for the fall of 2012. USNTDP defenseman Jacob Trouba is the early top overall US player for next year's draft. Currently uncommitted, Trouba has reportedly narrowed his college choices down to the University of Michigan and the University of Notre Dame. At this point it is unclear whether Trouba will go the collegiate route or the Major Junior route (the Kitchener Rangers hold his OHL rights).

he is listed at 5'9 here. besides that he seems like he can put some numbers up!
