  1. Tickets are hard to get at this time. I would recommend the neighborhood that includes LFSPRO and 01GRAD. That would be Section 117 behind the benches. We have a good cross section of decent fans there but best of all, we are there! As far as rooms, we have stayed several places but like the location of the Kelly Inn. Not to close but not to far, good bar especially on St. Patty's Day. The link is http://www.bestwesternstpaul.com/ The nice thing is they allow reservations a year in advance with no deposit.
  2. I am not sure I could have handled the Michigan Tech garb!
  3. What I had heard about the fans at the "home of the arrogant" was not correct. Our first time at the home of the Gophs was a great time and the MN fans were very cordial and respectful of the "Fighting Sioux"! I must admitt that I was somewhat disapponinted that we were not harrased at Sallys or Stub & Herbs. To get one last night was great to get the "SWEEP" was fantasic! Grad01 was there and we had a great time. Can not wait until the Final Five so we can kick some Goper Ass again. 15 kicks 1, it just does not better than that in their home! Until we get back to the land of the Northern Lights and "Home of the Sioux"! The Orwicks
  4. I would leave the Holy Cross jersey at home and save it for the Final Five. I would only wear mine if the Gophers are playing and the Sioux are not. We are heading out on Thursday night and staying at ours son's place in Eden Prairie. Friday will be a trip to the "Hell of American" with my daughter and wife looking for a prom dress. Thanks for the info on the parking and that SRO tickets are not assigned standing spots. Will need to get there early and claim our section on the rail.
  5. I am surprised you are not already camped outside at the home of the hated Gophers. I would expect you to be there cape and all!
  6. Sounds good, we will look for the friendly colors.
  7. We are headed to MPLS on Thursday to get ready for the big games this weekend. This will be our first trip to see the Sioux play the Gophers in their house. Who else is going? Our tickets are SRO, are there parking spots our is it just first come first serve. If so, is a certain area of the arena more popular than others with the Sioux faithful? Any suggestions on where to go before and after the games? Looking forward to a great hockey weekend and a pair of Sioux victories!
  8. Have not been able to find anything!
  9. My wife bought a complete bedset for me to be used in the guest bedroom in the basement located next to the family room decorated in Sioux Hockey. We also received gift card to the Ralph and etched glasses with our names on them, our birth year and of course the "Fighting Sioux Indian Head. Great Christmas!
  10. I am also an avid collector of Sioux hockey memorabilia. I think that my most prized possessions at this point is the 1986-87 team signed hockey stick which we display below the
  11. Me too, glad I stayed home to watch the games!
  12. Would have been easier to fly to Alaska, this sucks! Can not get on.
  13. In the cities for the weekend. Is anybody planning to watch the football game at Joe Sensors on Saturday? Hate to be the only Sioux fans there!!!!!
  14. Leaving Thursday night, entire family along with their significant others will all be at game. Really looking forward to the weekend but not the drive home on Sunday. Go Sioux!
  15. Does not matter, today is the day! Watching Slap Shot to get ready, let's go Sioux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. LFSPRO

    Goalie

Sioux football player? Has this been confirmed and if so, whom?
  17. Any additional info available on "Meet the Sioux Hockey Teams" night? Verification of date and time?
  18. Any idea of a time for the meet the Sioux hockey team on the 2nd of October?
  19. Called Scheels and the session is from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pictures with Zach can be taken and one item may be autographed. Tickets will be passed out for spots in line. I would guess that this allows people a chance to shop while waiting.
  20. I think I have six tickets for the Badger series in Madison in October and am looking for suggestions on where to stay. Based on another post it looks like rooms may be hard to find since it is also a big football game on the same weekend. Would like to take in football game as well, any ideas on how to get tickets for this.
  21. Think we have tickets lined up but no hotel yet. Any suggestions?
  22. I believe that Jim Archibald was interested in a coaching position with UND previously. I had a chance to visit breifly with him at the World Juniors and told him that I would have loved to see him back in Grand Forks with the Sioux. He indicated that he would have liked to have been back as well. Archibald is a true UND Hockey God and would be a great asset to the team on and off the ice! Who knows, stranger things have happened.
  23. Have friends in that section as well. Enjoy the seats, they are worth every penny! Diggler - Glad to hear you have season tickets, I know it must be killing you to pay full price!
  24. Have an Andy Schneider jersey I would like to get autographed and was wondering if he was around this summer. Anyone have any info?
