Seeing commercials for Hugo's makes me want to shop somewhere else.

Perets has given up four goals in a game, twice. Against Saint Cloud and against Michigan in QU's last two games last season.

I have a gripe against NIL, or at least my understanding of NIL. I thought NIL was supposed to be a way for colleges with revenue-rich programs to share some of their money with the players who are generating all that revenue. The obvious examples are SEC football programs and blue-blood men's basketball programs. So along comes NIL rights for college athletes. But instead of the money coming from the college athletic departments, NIL money has to come directly from the fans through fan collectives. The colleges, as I understand it, aren't even allowed to give money directly to the athletes. So NIL has become another fee for fans, even though many (most?) of whom are probably already maxed out on what they can afford to spend on tickets, merchandise, travel, streaming subscriptions, and direct support of their favorite athletic department. Now we have to donate even more money to a Collective so that our team can get good players to be competitive? And if our team doesn't win, then it's our fault because we didn't give enough money to lure the best players to his team? Is that the new reality?

Agreed. Sunday afternoon games would be even worse.

Curious about a couple of players recently mentioned in Rink Live articles--Nick Moldenhauer and Attila Lippai--both uncommitted, as far as I can tell. Are either of these guys legit college-hockey prospects? (Attila, obviously, would make the all-time great name team, captained by Ben Blood.)

Hello @JESUS,family,rutgers! If finances allow, subscribing to NCHC.tv is the best way to watch the games; it allows you to watch complete games even if you can't watch live. (Plus if you watch the next day, you can fast forward through the commercials and intermission breaks. At least you used to...I haven't tried that feature for awhile.) Also, I recommend watching "Through These Doors" each week on YouTube. Here's a link to this year's first episode. This is gonna be great year, @JESUS,family,rutgers!!

So many guys look markedly improved from last season. Credit to those guys for their commitment to offseason work and to the coaches for coaching 'em up.

I'm no expert on skating, but I had this exact same impression. Cooper Moore moved so well last night.

Taking too many penalties, but the boys look good. Johnson, Jamernik, Moore, Costantini have all looked great. DeRidder too.

This will not be the first trip to the Valley for at least a couple of Crusaders. According to Holy Cross's roster, freshman goalie Louden Hogg and junior defenseman Jack Robilotti both played for the Fargo Force.
