  1. Okay, I guess I don't recall that specific argument, but that was a while back. Could be? Fire Berry, fire Goehring, fire the hockey conditioning coach, fire the football conditioning coach, fire Bubba, fire Chaves, fire the MBB coach, fire the WBB coach, we already fired the VB coach (can we fire the new one yet?), I know I'm missing some. Fire 'em all!
  2. Again, I will remind everyone that when we wanted to FIRE HAK!!11! it was agreed upon that his assistant, Brad Berry, was doing all of the heavy lifting when it came to recruiting. That's why it would be okay to FIRE HAK!
  3. I'll agree with you here, but why do so many of you insist on forgetting that the '17 team was 'good enough' to win it all. If the BU game had gone our way, you never know. In the spring of '20 we were all looking forward to avenging our early season loss to Mankato in the national title game. That was canceled. Was last year a bad UND team? Yeah, obviously not, but another OT heartbreaker. I just don't understand why so many of you are so quick to be embarrassed by your favorite team.
  4. Definitely. That's why there was a 'Fire Hak' thread for a lot of his time here. Everyone here wanted the natty's.
  5. It would be easy to argue that Berry came close to that this season.
  6. After listening to those two chowdah' heads in the studio, I may just switch to cheering for "whichever team is furthest west in current game." But that ultimately leads to Duluth and Denver. Ugh.... baseball starts soon!
  7. And all of those losses featured a would-be-game-winning goal overturned.
  8. I guess it's completely up to you if you keep your mouth shut or not, but yes, you do have to accept what happens unless you are someone that materially contributes to the success of the team. I don't know who you are, so maybe you do. I understand the disappointment. I've been around for these let downs just like you. But I understand that I have no choice but to accept the outcome. I used to let it get to me for days. Not anymore. For the remainder of the season I'll find a temporary 'favorite' and kind of half-ass pay attention. I have a feeling next season will look better for North Dakota. Cheers!
  9. Well, that sucked. About three months ago, we all thought the season would have an even worse end than it did. I was entertained, which is why I'm here. Now for some good news: Tim said in the post-game, "Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'll be back for year 44 next season." I'll take that as a small victory for tonight. Cheers North Dakota fans.
  10. But you, and many others, are constantly declaring things "unacceptable." Why would you keep following a team that does so many unacceptable things? You can cheer for any team in the country you want. Find one that does everything to your expectations.
  11. And how did the national tourney work out for those teams that refused to touch the Penrose? Achievements should be celebrated, even if they aren't the ultimate goal.
  12. NCAA stats page has UND at the 13th best power play in the country this year. ESPNU graphic showed that Notre Dame has one of the best penalty kills in history this season.
  13. yep. that's about all i was trying to say. I'll Go Find Youtube now, as Oxbow suggested I should.
  14. I hear you, stoney. I never said they "played the same game." I was referring to their potential... the player Costantini could become. In Cagguilas frosh year, did any of us know what he would become? No, not truly. From what I see, Costantini has that much upside.
  15. Look at this guy! He doesn't even realize that Costantini and Caggiula both play the same game of hockey. Jeezes. I was just trying to start a civil conversation. I see a parallel between the two. They both played a small roll in the frosh year, but you can see the flashes where they get it, but just need time to catch up. I didn't say they play the "same game". Can any of you have a fucking conversation without trying to prove you are more hockey bro than everyone. Who wants to swing their dick next?
  16. Thanks for the reply, farce. As I said, I'm no great hockey mind, but the flashes of excellence we see from Costantini remind me of early UND Caggiula. Certainly not always great, and not even always good, but at least one time per game it shows up. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm going to keep my eye on him.
  17. I just might go find some yogurt. Thanks, bud!
  18. I guess if you have a hard time with question marks and nothing constructive to say, then maybe don't say anything? I thought we could try having a positive conversation during intermission. My bad.
  19. Allright! great input everyone! At least Oxbow wasn't bitching.
  20. Intermission topic: I'm certainly no hockey expert, I don't pretend to be able to evaluate future talent. Question; will we see Costantini in the green and white for four years? He looks to me like he could be our next Caggiula? Am I off base there?
  21. Damn! Back-scratcher, pile driver, Howitzer. Drop the Klevenhammer!
