one thing of note is that once a player enters the portal they can lose their scholarship at their original school.
I am surprised no one has figured out a backdoor hack into the portal database (or maybe some have, but not sharing the details)

Over 1,000 players have entered the portal on day one. I'm afraid this a barn door that will never close.

Hopefully this doesn't get too political, but have a theory that the impact of paywalls is also causing a lot of information to be inaccessible to those unable to afford subscriptions. Also, how it might be impacting incorrect news narratives.

Population Gain/Loss should not always be the best measure of success and U.S. Census has really struggled in the past couple of years in getting accurate data. However, numbers released this week suggest City of Grand Forks lost nearly 500 residents since April 2020. Mayor fault, no but something that should be worrisome.
