I get that UND's coaching decisions seemed off for parts of the game but certain players didn't look very good in the 3rd quarter either. The defense wasn't great but played a lot better today, when I watch I still feel like they let the play come to them and try to tackle instead of stepping up to make the tackle. Maybe to much thinking and not enough reacting, it almost seems like they are overcoached.

Right now I almost wish we had Crookstons defense.

UND has to onside because the defense can't get a stop.

I know it's never called but that hit on Hansen is spearing.

Kaufman does push off a little, but he is subtle and it certainly isn't something that would warrent a PI call.

I just don't understand how we are this bad defensively, last year I thought we were pretty good and it shouldn't get this ugly this fast. I will say the special teams has screwed the defense the last two weeks.

For some reason I don't like Harden returning kicks.

Coaches typically say that a starter doesn't lose his job if he gets injured. Some coaches actually mean it but a lot don't and it can screw the team either way. I think the vikings win a super bowl if they didn't replace Brad Johnson with Randall Cunnigham, but that is easy to say looking back. I have like what I have seen from both QB's but as far as consistancy and passing I will go with Hansen, but that doesn't mean I would be upset to see Hendrickson on the field.

He had already fallen off greatly and I doubt he would have all of a sudden become that really accurate passer again. For a couple games he was great but he hasn't been a great or even good passer the last several weeks.

That TD doesn't happen if we could cover a kickoff tonight!

UND has done well on offense but special teams has killed them tonight.

That screen looked big, but the oline blew the block.

I have liked the way Hansen has looked but he does need good pass protection. I think it's pretty clear he does a good job of finding the open WR's but we need to stop dropping passes. The QB position went from weakness to ? to what I would consider a strength and the run defense did the exact opposite.

The normally great special teams had some trouble last week and it doesn't look good this week either. I understand we blocked a PAT but giving up a return TD is a nightmare for a typically good unit.

Don't agree at all

Basically the entire middle of the defense has been replaced from last season and they are not getting the job done. Cal Poly had no trouble scoring once they got near the goaline. We didn't even get close to stopping them in the red zone tonight.

Cal Poly is good, but UND lost the game tonight. The defense needs to get a lot better and the offense needs to be more consistant and not turn the ball over. I really don't want to rag on QB play but the deep pass has been way off the last two games.
