While it's nice to see your post not struggle to come full circle to "thumbs down for UND hockey" for once, in no way is a tech company overcharging for a compilation of single camera feeds with low production quality good for exposure. FLO is prohibitively expensive for casual fans (and price-sensitive hardcore fans as well), and the profits find their way to Austin rather than the hockey conferences themselves. The fact that B1G was willing to include their product suggests hockey is a low priority to them. Streaming your games for free like RPI, Vermont, NEU, etc. do is good for exposure.

Bozeman used to have a D1 caliber rink (low end of the range, anyways). Not 100% on the year, but I think 2006 or 2007 the owner shut it down and it became a warehouse for a beer and liquor distributor. Their juniors team used to play in the NAHL, the rink closing likely coincided with when the team downgraded to a lower tier of juniors.

Didn't watch last night, but it seems like he's lost a step. Foot speed and pivot aren't what I remembered from him. It's early though.

If you spend an entire season at the NHL level that's a good threshold. Another would be signing a one way contract (which I believe Jordan did at one point). The original question was what made the OP say Tychonick looked NHL caliber.

What have you seen out of Tychonick suggesting he is NHL-bound? He has skill and draft status, but so did Jordan Schmaltz.
