These mergers/buying another company often means "ok now let's see where we can trim the fat." Cabelas kept it's headquarters in the small town of Sidney, Nebraska throughout all it's growth. Now that they got bought out all those jobs moved or were eliminated. Went from 2,000 to 200 jobs. Not much different than what is happening with Artic Cat.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cabelas closed in EGF. Hearing lots of negative things ever since Bass Pro Shops bought it.

I asked myself the same. It's in Tom Miller's article about the game.

Geez. I had to look it up myself to see if that quote was true. Turns out it was. As have been pointed out before Bubba Ball is stuck in the 90s. This quote from him isn't even close to true as anyone with a minimum football IQ of 80 as knowledged by everyone here was like "wtf why u punting?!"

Counting 2016 after Bubba had time to rebuild after Mussman. Bubba has made the FCS playoffs 50% of the time. No other UND coach can claim that!

Normally it was "lack of recruited qb." But it turned out it was the lack of a decent recruited RB. That turned out to cost them the season. Bubba is not going to get fired for making the playoffs two out of his six years. He needs to hit the recruiting trail better.

Demoralizing for the D when the O can't score. And they turn it over at the one yard line.

Ummm hello. UND hasn't been able to run the ball all year.

End of the 3rd Quarter: Defense has "really" only given up 10 points. Offense only two field goals.

Offense not playing very good today.

Down 2 scores. Bubba might play aggressively finally.

Just when you think Bubbas balls have finally dropped they shrink right back up.

Continuing to watch other teams go for it all season on 4th down.

Bubba thinks field goals are going to win this game. Then when he losses he's like well maybe I should have went for it more.

This team controls the puck and waits for a scoring chance before shooting the puck. Compared to the last couple years when they'd cross the blue line and taker a slapper into the goalies chest to complete the shot sweep for the weekend.

DOT team got swept four times that season. Including getting swept by Tech and Anchorage.

So I guess it's official. This team is as good as the DOT team.

Lose tomorrow and everyone will quickly forget about tonight's game.

The local Minneapolis Walmart had more Gopher fans in it tonight than at Mariucci. Luckily there was 3x more UND fans than Gopher fans to make the crowd look half decent by Gopher standards.
