  1. This conversation reminds me why I have Midcontinent Cable. (They carry FSSN.) PS - To test your systems out, don't forget that "Sioux Illustrated - The TV Show" is on at 7:00 pm Thursday nights (GF time) and re-run before Friday home games at 7:05 pm (game time 7:35 pm).
  2. I'm one of the others who's never been banned (or even warned) from POI even after some pretty good 'disagreements' there. (Hence, my point of Dangerfield, "I don't get no respect," treatment. ) Heck, I think I was posting on POI before you ever were.
  3. Ahem. More of the "Rodney Dangerfield" treatment I guess. Posting boards are like houses: There's how you can get away with acting in yours, and how you should act when you are a guest in another's.
  4. .... Fournier's off-season work ethic?
  5. I suspect CC would leave DIII before your scenario would come to pass.
  6. No reason? I can think of at least nine reasons or obstacles. - Alaska-Anchorage - Colorado College - Denver University - Michigan Tech - Minnesota - Minnesota-Duluth - Minnesota State - Mankato - St. Cloud State - Wisconsin They're not going to stand aside and hand over a league banner. Looking past those 'reasons' is disrespectful and a formula for failure. Play 'em. Play 'em hard. Go from there.
  7. He's scary on so many levels so just stay away from the children.
  8. Anyone know the music-sound guy at REA? How about a tune just for Fournier's big dream .... "Cheeseburger in Paradise"
  9. UMD Hires Bubba First Sandy (Scott Sandelin), now Bubba (Kyle Schweigert).
  10. And how many times has a team actually made the playoffs in their first eligible year?
  11. A tidbit found on UMD's site: Apparently the third man in this now three-horse race has head coaching experience, NCC experience, and some familiarity with UMD's AD.
  12. Oh yeah, especially a 'DI' that is guaranteed no post-season for almost the entirety of the student-athlete's eligibility. No post-season is the one and only thing that is not "unpridicable" [sic] here. I hope Rory Manke makes the decision that is best for him. That's the hope I have for every student-athlete. (If memory serves, a local paper reported that Minnesota wants him to walk on.) As far as size and receivers, two words: Dan Grossman.
  13. Come on Pat. We're talking pork sandwich here. You know I wouldn't have thrown the elbow if you hadn't swung the stick, er, pencil, like a bat at me in line. And you know I offered to "wear the badge" for you up in the press box too. Face washes are pretty-boy. Give me old-school. I'll get Wooger by the tie and re-enact 'Prpich-Peluso' all over him.
  14. [Rhetorical Tone] Repulsive? [/Rhetorical Tone]
  15. Parise was out there with a strained MCL. Pat? He was off getting treatment. Soft. And I even offered to jump onto his line to pick up some slack. PS - HIPAA or not, I know what Pat's 'injury' was. Pooly couldn't have helped it. PPS - That injury given by the STrib writer, could that be called a "Blount" force trauma?
  16. You'd think she'd have learned to watch what she says by now. PS - We wouldn't jab at you if we didn't know you could take it and return it just as well.
  17. Based on what I read around here recently it's a good thing those are Porter's pants and not Nick Fuher's or else 'forecheck' would be in a huge swoon. <--- 'forecheck' thinking about Fuher's pants.
  18. Games are won in the trenches. Let's focus on establishing who the new offensive and defensive lines will be.
  19. The student-athlete who led DII in catches in 2003 has a new hobby. I think he hung out with Jeff Glas too much.
  20. With 97 catches for 1049 yards (the number of catches led DII) .... Willis Stattelman.
  21. Knowing UND's history with TEs and basketball .... Matt Vanderpan!
  22. ... and that NDSU students should be aware, just as everyone should be aware. Heaven forbid me from trying to inform people of something that happened in their area. (Later it turns out that one of those 'attacks' was bogus.) On to a related subject: Right after the arrest in the Sjodin case a Level 3 moved to Thief River Falls. Now this meeting goes on Thursday. Can't we find a way to keep these offenders off the streets? PS - Make special note: I make no comment on city or address. PPS - I've probably ticked off another poster by mentioning TRF.
  23. The Northport report is false. Doing that to that northside of Fargo community was wrong. I hope she faces the consequences for her actions. http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=46306 And gee tony, I lose so much sleep worrying about what you think of my writing style.
