PCM Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Tough conference for our UND boys......Coach Hak gets a little frustrated at last ? Oh, I've seen him that frustrated after games before. It doesn't happen often, but it happens. Hak knew that the Boston media wanted to anoint Joe Rooney as the BC savior. He was having none of it. Quote
coach daddy Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I didn't see much frustration either. Defended his boys; we did score again after the empty net goal by Rooney, right? Media know so little about the inner workings of a team. They just ask questions based on what they see. Quote
stickboy1956 Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I thought both coaches were very classy - it will be nice to play them over the next 4 years. Quote
PCM Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 I didn't see much frustration either. By Hak standards, the frustration was evident. Quote
siouxyeahyeah Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 What a tough few minutes for Oshie and Porter, to have to answer questions when they were obviously still processing the loss. Porter still had his jersey on... Quote
dagies Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Oh, I've seen him that frustrated after games before. It doesn't happen often, but it happens. Hak knew that the Boston media wanted to anoint Joe Rooney as the BC savior. He was having none of it. Considering how measured his responses usually in the media it was an interesting end to the press conference. I was watching and thinking "I don't see this frustration that others mentioned" until about the last minute. Then I was glad I wasn't going toe-to-toe with Hak. Hak is willing to give respect to the other team, but dang you if you try to take anything away from his. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 It's hard not to notice that Porter still has his jersey on...... Quote
siouxnami Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 By Hak standards, the frustration was evident. Did he blink? Quote
