Sioux_Yeah_Yeah
I'm going to Fargo tonight (I hope) & watch the 1st game on TV & then will head to St Paul in the early am (Man are we ever getting snow in GF ) I already brought up weather in the "who's all going" thread for road conditions on the way to the Cities tonight... I drove up to GF from Fargo for work this morning between 7 and 8... And if the roads and weather stay like it was, it's not gunna be pretty. I've been hearing about accidents along I-29, and I almost got into a few myself. It was one of the scariest times I've ever been on the road like that. Drive carefully!!! HockeyMom
Hopefully everything stays to the north. Sounds like the wind is starting to pick up here.
dagies
Mpls Weather Radar from Weather.Com Based on this it looks like you should be free and clear to drive down, as long as the roads are ok up there.
hockeysk8
In Fargo it's not too bad....could get a little slippery later, but shouldn't be a problem if you are cautious. The only areas that are always a little sketchy during winter weather is Fergus Falls thru Alexandria and a bit further past there. I always seem to run into a bit more ice, slippery spots, etc., around those cities. So, be careful and I'm sure everyone should be fine! Also, I believe if you dial "511" in Minnesota, it takes you right to an automated message system where you can hear about driving conditions in any county of MN, or any road. I've used it several times in bad weather and it's been really handy. Safe driving everyone and GO SIOUX!
