DMT
The Chat is now up. http://www.cstv.com/chat/100606aaa.html jeff, in minny: Great to have you back this season! I noticed that Brad Malone gave us a verbal commitment today. Coach Hakstol and his staff are great recruiters....what brought you to UND and will your brother be following in your footsteps? Jonathan Toews: Coach Hakstol has been doing a great job of scouting and recruiting in the past few years. For me, a big thing was how the players treated me when I visited the locker room after one of the games during my senior year in high school. When it came down to it, it just seemed like UND was a great place to play hockey. It was exciting to watch games at the Ralph Engelstad in a town where people really care about the hockey team. As for my brother, I think he will do what he feels is the right think for him when it's time to make that decision...so we will see. Walsh Hall
I liked the statements about staying at least 1 more year and that the young guys are coming along. Apparently he isn't a young guy anymore. That guy can handle a question. Toews and Oshie sure make it easy to love this team. Impressive. Not only are they great hockey players, but both are quality people as well. I know it has been stated countless times before, but we are fortunate to have these two guys here playing for the Sioux. LB#11
Jonathan Toews is a pleasure to have @ the University of North Dakota. He obviously has talent 2nd to none...he is a modest young man who knows exactly what he's doing. I know this may be the last year we have him here, we(Sioux fans) really have to appreciate the fact that he is playing for the Fighting Sioux this year. If you'd like to stay longer Jonathan, you're more than welcome.
siouxnami
I'll keep saying this. "He sounds like a 38 year old NHL Captain, when he speaks..."
