JESUS,family, rutgers
For those interested, single game tickets for the games at Dartmouth on December 29 and 30 go on sale October 1. Their phone number is 603-646-2466 and the website is above. Despite the fact that there is a dancing Indian on their website, the woman at their ticket office did not seem hostile or abusive. My Webpage
CDog
Hey JFR, is the Newark Airport the closest airport to Rutgers that serves commercial flights? Approximately how far is it from the airort to the Rutger's Football stadium? Thanks for any info you can provide!
JESUS,family, rutgers
Hello CDog, Yes, Newark Liberty International Airport is the closest large airport to the Rutgers New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. It is about 30 miles north of the campus and is about a 45 minute car ride. It has been a while since I have been to the airport, but I believe there is now a monorail from the airport to downtown Newark where you can catch a train to downtown New Brunswick and a free bus ride to the stadium. If you decide to go to downtown Newark, PLEASE be very careful--it is not Grand Forks,it is a very rough city especially at night. It is much better than 30 years ago,but still has a lot of crime. Auto would be the better way to go. As for the New Brunswick/Piscataway area, there are lots of hotels and restaurants with a lot of restaurants in downtown NB. Here are a few websites that might be helpful---www.scarletknights.com,www.state.nj.us/travel/ and www.newbrunswick.com. Please let me know if there is any other information you might need. Goon
Dartmouth is in New Hampshire right?
nodakvindy
Yes, right on the border with Vermont. Closest airport to fly into would be Manchester, NH. Boston is another hour south. Manchester is much easier to navigate, obviously.
