AZSIOUX Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Thanks for the recap as well as now making me ponder how are we going to make up all those points? we will be fine....2 names oshie and toews............ Quote
tnt Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 ...and the Sioux do have 3 of the top 9 returning scorers from the WCHA scoring race. No other team returns more than 1 of the top 9. It didn't look good there for a while, but then came the news that Toews was coming back and other teams lost some key players. Quote
Sioux-per Villain Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Duncan Lee Chorney Kozek too.... we'll be fine. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I agree, we will be just fine. We are The Fighting Sioux, we simply reload. Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Let's not forget the loss of Brad Berry as well. A huge hole that will take time for his replacement, however well qualified, to fill. Berry's work with the young defensemen has been legendary, and his off ice demeanor and bench skills are both top shelf. Sure, Berry doesn't lace them up, but his absence will hurt, at least early on while the kids acclimate to a new guy. Quote

Yes it will take time to fill up the hole as a person, but I trust Hak and if he thinks this will work, then it will work.
