Parise/Bochenski To Play on Different Lines

PA and Dubay interviewed Tim Hennesey, voice of the Sioux, this morning. Tim mentioned that, indeed, Parise, Jones and Greene are back and hard at it. He also mentioned that Blais is going to put Parise on a line with Mason and Spiewak and Bochenski will stay on the line he played with this past weekend.

What'd Coach Blais say earlier this season? Something like whoever plays with Parise will "get rich" when it comes to scoring.

Hey, he's just sharing the wealth. :(

This week's lottery winners: James Massen and Kevin Spiewak!

And with any Blais line-up: Wait half a period; it'll change. :p

Well I hope so. It's kind of hard to mess with what we had earlier on. But it could be successful at really helping spread out the scoring.

Also, it makes it difficult for a MN checking line to get BOTH Parise and Bochenski. With luck this spreads that out a bit.

I look at these lines compared to the ones I suggested and I can see why Blais gets the big bucks. Not only do you create two great scoring lines and a solid checking line, but every one of the top three lines contains an experienced veteran who's a good defensive player. And the fourth line ain't bad, either.

As dagies said, it spreads out the scoring a bit, as well as the good defensive forwards. This should make it rather diffiuclt for the Gophers to take advantage of the last line change.

SHHHHH!!!

OK, OK, I'll ixnay on the Ach Zay playing oalie gay.

I mean... he'll probably play forward .... well that is if there's room on the roster ... still ... what with everyone else playing so well ... wouldn't be surprised if Zach spent Friday doing the shot chart with Siembida.

I hope you're satisfied, PCM.
