Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Does anyone else think Parise's having a hard time seeing the puck? It looks like his reactions are well after the puck has passed. Quote
JESUS,family, rutgers Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 I think that is how the Kennedys made their fortune, siouxd. Quote

mksioux Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 So much for playing with desperation. Quote
JESUS,family, rutgers Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 Is this more aggressiveness than the Sioux defense is used to? Quote
Runninwiththedogs Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Stafford, Toews, and (of course) Spirko are going to come up big tonight, I can just tell. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Penalty on the Gophers. Need to make one count here. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Is this more aggressiveness than the Sioux defense is used to? I think that's hard to answer. Defensemen can do so little this year compared to what they've been able to do in the past, without being called for penalties. They can't play the body like they've been able to do in the past. With that being said, we've lost a lot on defense in the past year. Quote
SiouxMD Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I have been to a lot of college arenas and stadiums and the only ones I've heard of that sell alcohol are Syracuse and North Dakota. Did they sell alcohol at the old arena too? No. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Anyone remember the last time a gopher made it to the ice during a Sioux/Gopher game? That was a tradition that should have never stopped. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Doesn't look like Smaby's just going to let Stoa sit in front of Parise tonight. Hopefully he won't be called too many times. Quote
BleedGrn Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 2nd goal, defenseman played the body too loose...can't be doing that...let's play with some physical presence. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Hak needs to do some yelling in the intermission. Quote
mksioux Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 (edited) Anyone remember the last time a gopher made it to the ice during a Sioux/Gopher game? That was a tradition that should have never stopped. The old Ralph. I've yet to see one at the new one. End of 1st. 2-0 Mn. Edited December 11, 2005 by mksioux Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 The old Ralph. I've yet to see one at the new one. I know of one that hit the ice at the new Ralph, but I don't recall anymore than that. Quote
mksioux Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 That may have been the most pathetic period since the Sat night game last season against Minnesota (I didn't see last night's game). No flow by UND, no hustle, no physicality, no crisp passing, no anything. Quote
JESUS,family, rutgers Posted December 11, 2005 Author Posted December 11, 2005 Have to go---my Dad is not having a good night. Good luck Sioux! Quote
