dagies
Jones off for elbowing or high sticking. According to the booth it could have been either.
dagies
Sioux pk doing a great job of keeping Harvard from the net. Now just 7 seconds left on the penalty. Fabian getting accolades for his all-around play.
dagies
McAfferty trips Stafford. Sioux on the PP.
dagies
Spirko, Stafford, Zajac, Duncan and Porter are out for the PP. No D. Prpich, Kozek, Miller, Spirko, Radke out for the second unit. Spirko went home to Slovakia over Christmas and got engaged the booth says. Sweet Home Alabama comes over the PA. SKYNYRD ROCKS!
dagies
Duncan misses a chance out front! Someone (Duncan?) hits the post! Porter in a little scrum at the whistle. 5 a side now. Edited December 30, 2005 by dagies

dagies
Oops, now the Sioux get 7 to 6 SOG. Dane Jackson intermission interview. 11 years in the pros, about 50 big league games. Coached in the AHL last couple years. Fondest memory is scoring 4 goals at Old Mariucci to beat the Gophers. Now lives in NY. Used to play with Hak. Says Hak gets more of a kick out of winning now as a coach than he did as a player. Jackson is the opposite. Said he might have been able to play in the minors a couple more years, but the Kings said they valued him as a player and wanted to keep him in the org as a coach, so he decided to do it. Another former Sioux valued for their coaching potential.
dagies
5 minutes into second period, not much of note going on.

Sioux_Hab-it
Gee whiz, Dagies, I think it's just you and me here! Not quite, there just hasn't been much to get excited about yet.
dagies
Sioux had an open opportunity but missed. Booth says Spirko would have had the best opportunity of the night had he shot from 10 feet out but instead tried to be too cute. Passed instead of shot. dagies
Zajac and Watkins combine for a voice raising opportunity.
Sioux_Hab-it
Spirko should have taken the shot.
dagies
Stafford blew by Harvard D, cut to the net but the puck rolled off his stick to the goalie.
dagies
Harvard boy runs Fabian from behind after the whistle. Kaip enjoys the excuse to mix it up a bit and both players go with coincidental roughing minors. 4x4
dagies
Harvard works hard, Stafford takes a tackling penalty to keep Frasier from walking out front. Sioux down 1 for most of 2 minutes.
dagies
Good work by the Sioux and they clear the zone. Still 4x3
