Vegas Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I'm not watching the feed but I've seen this goal before from Toews. Get used to it folks! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Penalty on Kaip. Sioux shorthanded. Let's kill it PK. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 I'm not watching the feed but I've seen this goal before from Toews. Get used to it folks! I don't think Denver's goalie was really expecting Toews to shoot, and he sniped it. JPar standing big thus far on the PK. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Is that Eddie Belfour in Net for the Sioux Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Parise gets run by Cook, which results in a penalty for Denver. Game Misconduct actually. 5 minute major. Make it count boys!!! Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Major to Denver for running Parise. What dirt bags! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Sioux played a GREAT first period!!! Let's keep it up boys. Quote

margaritaville Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 anybody have the shot totals after 1 period? Quote
dakotadan Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 We can't think we have the game already wrapped up and blow a 3 goal lead. I hope the coaches are stessing that during the period break. Quote
woodbutcher Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 If you are interested HERE is a chatroom for the game. Quote
sprig Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Denver killed the 5 on 3 by holding and tackling. They've quickly reverted to the old Denver team when pressured. Even though Shep let them get away with the tackling on the PK, kudos to him for making the right call on running Parise. Sioux have been taking the body and winning the checking battles for the entire first period, Denver's answer to it is running the goalie. Does Gwoz coach this crap? Denver down to 9 forwards. Quote
UMDDogz Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 WOW! The Sioux really rolled it up in the first period. Are the Sioux dominating that much, or just taking better advantage of the chances they get? Quote

Piggybacking is what I used to call it. St. Cloud was infamous for it too! Quote
UNDPUCKS Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Great period, the crowd sounds awesome! Like the old Ralph. Interview with Sparky was funny. SHould have asked him if he knows what UFFDA means? Pedal to the metal boys, keep it up!! Quote
UMDDogz Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Pedal to the metal boys, keep it up!! Yeah, don't take the boot off their throats! Wild going to a shootout (against the Bluejackets), should be interesting... Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Just heard the "Lucky seat giveaway" at the Ralph. Ten years of attending Sioux games at the Ralph, I don't think I ever came even close to winning that stupid thing! Quote
dakotadan Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I thought that the UM-TC vs. SCSU was supposed to be on FSN. Is it going to be tape delayed after the Wild game? Quote
