Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Thought I'd start the game thread. Should be a great game. Actually a lot of praise from the guys on CSTV about how well the freshman are playing. Of course, talk about Paukovich as well. Quote
dakotadan Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 At least they got some people who can actually sing for the National Anthem. Quote
woodbutcher Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 If you are interested I have a chatroom set up for the game HERE. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 After the last disastrous weekend, they thought they better start doing some searching for some actual talent. Denver Trottier down on a HUGE hit by Smaby. Good check, but rough hit for the Denver guy. He's done for the game. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 What a hit from Smaby, I don't think Trotter knows where he is. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 What a hit from Smaby, I don't think Trotter knows where he is. From the looks of it, he's wishing he was back in Denver curled up in his bed. Holding on Denver. 2 man advantage for Sioux for a short amount of time. Go Sioux!! Quote
UMDDogz Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Dogs up 5-3 over Tech, but Tech is going on a 5 minute PP. Still looking for our first win... Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 5x3 PP for the Sioux. It looked like Trotter had a broken leg. Redshirt for him I would say. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Denver only has 11 forwards dressed. Could hurt them in the 3rd. Oh wait, forgot to mention that with Trotter out, it's down to 10 forwards. Quote
dakotadan Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 So how many people here are watching on CSTV? I don't have CSTV but luckily we have the FSSN. Just wondering what the the announcers have had to say on CSTV. Quote

Just wondering what the the announcers have had to say on CSTV. I'm on CSTV. Announcers have actually been pretty positive about the Sioux thus far. A lot of accolades for the freshman. They just did a small showcase on Oshie, and the start he's had. One of the announcers stated that he reminds him of Zach Parise. I don't know about that. There's some similarities, but yet, quite a bit different style players. Nice rebound from Radke, 1-0 Sioux, and I miss being at the Ralph! Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Paukovitch tried to check Duncan and he just went right under him. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Paukovitch tried to check Duncan and he just went right under him. Even though he wouldn't admit it, I'm sure he's skating on egg shells. Zajac scores!!! About time!!! 2-0 Sioux! Quote
