Believe it or not, there are kids out there in Minnesota who actually like the Sioux

That is kind weird that a kid playing minnesota hockey all his life has a dream of playing for the Sioux

I think Dowzak would seriously consider the Sioux......he was teammates with about 1/3 of the Siouxs current roster at Shattuck St Marys and it is alot easier to adjust to a new school and college life when you have a good core of friends around.....

UND is closer, geographically, to many of the north Minnesota kids than the U of Minnesota. We've always done well recruiting in northern Minnesota, which I would think would correspond to building up something of an alumni/fan base there over the years. Our northern Minnesota alumni come from a lot of sources other than hockey, obviously.
