iramurphy Posted December 16, 2004 Share Posted December 16, 2004 I have every Sioux/Bison game dating back to 1982. Before that there is nothing available in terms of television broadcasts that I'm aware of. I talked to Coach Lennon about that very topic a couple of months ago. I asked him specifically about the 1980 Sioux/Bison game. He doesn't have it and doesn't know of any of his old teammates who have it either. He suggested I contact WDAZ, which I had already tried with no luck. He informed me that the athletic dept. does have old game film, but I believe it was shot with a single camera from the press box. I think it would also most likely be black & white footage if you're going all the way back to the '70s. I also would imagine there is no audio. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is an online srevice that offers films including games on the 70's. I checked it about four years ago and they did have a number of UND games from the 70's. I am not sure I still have the card with the info, but I will look for it. If I find it I will post the info.
