sprig
3-2 Sioux after two; seems like the Sioux didn't have a penalty over the last half of that period.
sprig
Haven't heard much of Stafford and Zajac so far. Sioux PP 0-6 Maine PP 2-

DamStrait
Smoggy, speak up, we need your impressions of the second period, since you seem to be the only one here watching the game.
Smoggy
I don't know if there is much to say on this game. It's kind of just there. Lots of penalties which should be expected. I think the Sioux have controlled the 5x5 situation, but they aren't getting great opportunities from it. The CSTV color man (who I swear sounds like the old Wild color man), said the Sioux were really only forechecking two players after UND regained the lead. I expect more of the ho-hum in the third. Smoggy
Murray was the period break guest. He put on 16 lbs of muscle while living and working out at the Kings training facility for two and a half months.
sprig
 The CSTV color man (who I swear sounds like the old Wild color man), <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was supposed to be Eruzione.
DamStrait
...the Sioux were really only forechecking two players after UND regained the lead. .. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Doesn't sound like Sioux hockey to me. Let's take it to 'em - LET'S GO SIOUX!!!!!
Smoggy
That was supposed to be Eruzione. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eruzione is doing the side line interviews. Thank the almighty.
sprig
THey owe the Sioux at least one 5 on 3; get off the PP schneid tonight. Game held up by CSTV not getting commercials in on time. TH is giving them hell (that's what for)
DamStrait
TH giving the CSTV production what for for delaying the period start.

sprig
Long time, no penalties, this is better, but not much happening. Greene is throwing some big hits (sounds like) tonight.

sprig
How can you give up 3 to Maine? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With that many PP's, some have to go in; wish you could say the same for the Sioux.
Smoggy
Maine had the bounces on that last goal. Some how it magically came from the corner to right out front. Parise dove head first to stop the shot. It wasn't much of a shot and deflected to the side of the net, where a Maine player picked it up and just whizzed it past McMahon on a tight angle. DamStrait
Ok TZ & DS: time to step up and get the lead back.
sprig
JPar dumped by a Maine player after a scoring chance. Sioux may get the first PP of the period (waiting on ensuing scrum) Prpich and Hamilton for roughing; another Mainer for running JPar. Yes, time for a PP goal.
