Kermit Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 IMO Becker would be a nice addition to the Sioux, he is a very talented player, his size is the only thing keeping him back. I will fork out the $ to watch my cousin play, but I wasn't going to pay to see the other teams play. Now that I know they are free I will have to check some of them out. Did anyone hear how they did in the championship? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They lost in overtime. Overall a very good showing considering they finished next to last in the standings. They had a good team all year, they were always missing players though, especially the last week before the playoffs. Did anyone hear how they did in the championship? i saw all three of great plains games this past weekend, squirtcoach is right, it was some good hockey(a lot of stunned people that great plains made it to the championship). the games being played this weekend at elite nationals in new hope consists of two teams made up of players selected from all the regular teams (none of the nd kids were selected). the rosters as well as the other teams participating are posted on the elite league website.
