huskies679
I am sorry, but why would a network "promote" a sport that the vast majority of the country cares nothing about? It not the job of the networks to make a sport interesting. Just accept the fact that the popularity of hockey will never rival football and basketball. Don't you get tired of making excuses for the lack of interest in hockey. It is a national sport with regional popularity. In Minnesota, the Gopher Hockey Fans did not even sell out their alloment of tickets for the NCAA tourney. Womens basketball makes the final four and Gopher Fans scramble to get them. Many fans that made the trip could not even get in the arena. The same thing happened when the men made it to San Antonio. If womens sports are tough to watch and lack appeal, then what does that tell you about hockey. Just accept it and enjoy the great tradition you have in UND Hockey. Your tradition is something to be proud of.
BinaIsGod
Hockey is a major sport. Read this link, it's great, and proves that hockey is a major sport, despite what sportswriters think.
UMDDogz
basketball fights (if those open-handed purse-swinging affairs can truly be termed "fights") Too funny!

redwing77
BB fights are like two girls slapping at each other Actually, I've seen more intense fights at the grocery store between two 80 year old ladies and the last bag of prunes.

MinnesotaNorthStar
Agreed...very funny! And BB fights don't start until they have someone in place to "hold me back!" : No, they need at least two people to "hold them back" before they start taking wild "swings" which are about as real as the WWE
